Shopping
It was a perfect autumn day in Los Angeles and perfect for shopping, at least according to her wife. Vernique didn't miss the fact that Brandr had all Asgardian clothes, what little of those he had, and no Migard clothes. There was a statement that bodyguarding couldn't be done if one stood out. So shopping it was.

Svalin was on Solver duty for shopping. She knew next to nothing about Migard fashion or clothes in general and someone had to keep Solver from flying around the stores. Vernique was the expert shopper in the family and Svalin was more than happy to let her take point and say where they went and what they bought.

With toddler in arms and distracted by animal crackers, Svalin followed her wife and Brandr.

	The ball was hit and went flying through the mall. Thankfully by now people were out of the aisle. The sword sliced through one of the arms of Stilt-Man's suit and hydraulic fluid started coming out of it and sprayed everywhere. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Brandr frowned at this and turned so the fluid hit his right side, protecting his left and, importantly and the whole point of this, the lady's shopping bags. This was annoying more than entertaining really. So he moves to slice the other arm and then rush in towards the Stilt Man. Frankly this was not an opponent he was impressed with. 	Stilt-Man was devastated his new armor was damaged. Clearly he hadn't been expecting this. He started to run. Rollerball finally came to a stop and looked at the Asgardian charging toward him. He started to run in the opposite direction. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Brandr just sighs, clearly disappointed. Running already? He turns to walk towards Vernique and places the, thankfully unsprayed, shopping bags at her feet. "I will return in a brief moment milady," he bows, then turns and takes off at full speed after the runaway Stilt Man. The coward couldn't even stand and fight! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Rollerball looked at the Asgardian and considered his options. He could try to fight, try to run or do what she said. Two of the three could mean pain and he really didn't like pain.

"Fine. I surrender." The ball powered off and he waited.

Stilt-Man kept running. The long legs of his suit let him cover a lot of ground quickly. He stopped in a certain spot and rose straight up and through the skylight. Then he jumped, trying to get out via skylight.

	Brandr frowned. He would not allow this man who tried to attack them get away. So he grabs the long extending legs and gives them a powerful yank to try and bring their owner back down to the ground. Somewhat painfully of course. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He let the man fall nearly on top of him and shoved him to the ground at the last moment. Having sheathed his sword to yank the fool down, he pulls out a long knife and presses the edge against the man's neck, not enough force to pierce the skin though.

"As I understand, thou art one of the fools who ruined Lady Vernique's properties. You wilt answer to the lady for these crimes." With that, Brandr removes the knife and drags the man back by the collar of his shirt to where Lady Vernique was.

	Brandr arrives and drags his opponent along as he goes. "Milady, ist this one of those who ruined thine property?" He's picked up Stilt Man by the collar and is holding him up so the poor guy's legs helplessly dangle. "What wouldst thou like done with him?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The police were there in a matter of minutes and took Rollerball and Stilt-Man away. Once they were gone and things were trying to return to normal, Svalin looked at her wife. "Doth we continue shopping, or art we going home?" Svalin thoroughly believed that only Ragnarok would keep her wife from shopping when she had her mind set on it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	And as if nothing had interrupted them, Brandr dutifully picks up the bags he's put down earlier and steels himself for more shopping. If only those fools had been more entertaining opponents it would have made up for things. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
