Cait just shook her head when she saw him take the cookie sheet out with his bare hands. She had an oven mitt on and she took the tray from him. With a spatula she removed the cookies and placed them on a plate.
"As promised, the first cookies from the oven. You better hurry. Someone will smell them and come searching for them."
