AU meme: Errands galore
Martin adjusts his hat and grins. They were going to visit Dr. Strange! He didn't get to go to Earth's dimension often, and there was so much fun to do with magic. Even better? Clea would be escorting them there which meant for the first few days? Lots of long errands (which they generally ignored) and no supervision!

Translation: fun magic time.

What should we start with? I hope we stay long enough to finish our fun stuff to-do list.

	"I promise," he nods seriously, then smiles again and without warning the (now invisible) blue flames arise from each of their discs and teleport them inside. Now...how to get a red panda's attention...were there any red panda noises? "What sound do red pandas make?" Okay, perhaps Marlow wasn't the person who would know that but he had to ask someone. 	That was a really good question. Pandas didn't roam the Dark Dimension. Earth nature shows were in short supply. Their only real contact with nature was the Savage Land. 	He still maintained that if they'd found one it would've been a great pet. Clea had straight out turned down the proposal of the full grown one, surely a small one would be okay. "Well it can't hurt." A little swirl of magic to make his voice echo a bit more and... "Grrr! Grrr...grrrrrrr." Hmm, not much. You try too. Maybe they like your growls better. She watched the trees in the enclosure to see if anything peered out when Martin growled. If anything, they seemed more quiet than before.

Outside the cage, the crowd was growing as visitors tried to see what was going on.

"Grrrrr!" she tried, attempting to make her growl sound friendly and come-out-and-play-like.

Still nothing. She sighed in disappointment. Maybe they're scared of us. We should look like pandas maybe?

	You're first. Gonna make you look like a red panda, and let them see you. Other pandas AND the crowd. Climb the tree and see if they'll come out to play with you. A red panda was suddenly visible in the panda enclosure. A large person size one. Hovering in the air. Maybe they should've checked to see if the Central Park Zoo actually had a red panda? Can I just stand on the tree? You need hands to climb

The person sized red panda floats towards a tree and sits on it in a rather human-like way. Hmm, surely one red panda would come out? Maybe they didn't put all the pandas together. You'd think they'd put the red ones with the black and white ones too. It seemed only fair they'd get to play together.

Though they'd certainly got the attention of everyone but the pandas.

	Marlow waited to see what happened, then decided that maybe another panda would be better. She cast another illusion over herself and became a red panda as well. She climbed a different tree and found a limb to sit on. With the sudden appearance of another red panda, people were pointing and taking pictures with cell phones. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

People here really like red pandas

Well they must, look how many pictures they were taking! Were red pandas that popular on Earth? He couldn't remember it like this when he'd been to the zoo years ago.

I don't think Clea would let us keep a big panda...I hope the red ones come out soon or we'll need to move on to another pet. I wonder if there's a map of where the best pets are...

Vincent had cast a spell on a police scanner to filter in any possible supernatural goings-on, and had come to investigate upon hearing talk of spontaneously appearing animals and possible invisible people. A quick invoking of true-sight and... now what do we have here?

Throwing a veil over himself so as not to cause any panic (sometimes if a superhero suddenly shows up, it's just as likely to convince people that a fight is about to break out), he approaches the two.

"Excuse me... are you in need of some kind of help?"

He casts a minor benign enchantment on the two of them, letting them see through his veil. "Is there some particular reason you two are choosing to manifest as red pandas? You're causing quite a stir, and the zookeepers are understandably concerned.

Also, good afternoon. I'm Vincent Vernard, of the Fantastic Four. He bows, deeply enough to be polite to fellow practitioners.

Marlow felt the spell sift over them and bristled. It was rude to cast a spell on somebody not actively trying to hurt you. It was A Rule. Clea's punishment would have involved cleaning something unpleasant or worse, forbidden to use magic for a period of time.

"The Fantastic Four don't have any magicians," she said decisively. "If they did, we would have been told so we didn't accidentally make them mad"

	Martin's reaction to the spell is much the same, except he frowns deeply at Vincent, already disapproving of the guy. "Yeah. We'd have heard of you. Besides..." Vincent catches the spike in tension with the young lady. "I'm sorry, is something wrong? I can assure you that the Fantastic Four most certainly do have a sorcerer in their ranks." He bristles just a little bit. "Although my scientific acumen isn't anything to sneeze at either..."

He then turns to the boy with her, smiling. "Yes, our newest assortment just came out last month. All profits going to charity, as usual."

"I am quite real, I assure you." He tries to keep the edge out of his voice. He's still not quite sure what these two are up to. "And the action figures are an annual tradition for the Fantastic Four. Like the Hess Truck for Christmas or the buckets at McDonalds for Halloween." That reminded him, he needed to double-check that eBay auction for Andrea.

"Now... I don't mean to be rude, but why exactly are you making yourselves into illusory red pandas in front of everyone?"

Martin looks decidedly unimpressed by Vincent. "That doesn't mean anything. It only says that you copy McDonald's." The unspoken bit, but one that's clear by the look he shares with Marlow, is that really, what sorcerer copies McDonald's? Clearly not a real one.

He nods firmly in agreement with Marlow. Yes, this guy had been very rude, the least he could do was make up for ruining their panda hunt by helping. "Yes, you need to help for interrupting the panda search. And being rude about it."
