"Dumb move the way he did it. He had no idea what Kymellian psychic sorcery could end up doing to humans. Basically, they ended up in the position where they'd have a psychotic break if our fibs to cover our tracks about our activities didn't add up. Any of the four of us. And we weren't good liars. It took... a lot of work to get them past that. Mom still sees the SHIELD shrinks."

	She nodded. She didn't know that Mrs. Power was seeing a therapist, but it didn't surprise her. SHIELD benefits were pretty extensive. "I have to go in for my twice-a-year eval soon. I usually see Dr. Samson, but he's been tied up with other patients. The deputy director is considering allowing Dr. Morse access to my file and sending me to see her." 	Sammy watched from behind him, safety glasses and ear plugs on. She liked to observe, and she'd been in ranges literally since before she could hold a gun on her own. Her first shots were taken with Dad on his knees behind her, helping her find her target with her very first Glock. She watched for a moment longer before going to the next station. 	And Agent power is perfectly adequate at this, the shots somewhere near the middle of the target, but first slightly too low, then overcompensating slightly too high. He manages a thin smile as Sammy gets to her own work. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Sammy put on her serious face, because there was no horseplay on the shooting range, and went through her usual checks as she readied herself. She eyed the target at the far end of the range.

If she'd been less serious about her shooting, she might've placed the shots in a happy face and any number of fun shapes. If she'd been trying to impress Power, she might've done it anyway.

Her Glock 23 released all 15 shots in a rapid staccato. The shots grouped in the head and heart sections of the target.

She slipped out the mag for a fresh one and looked over at Power's station.
