It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (open for meme posts)
Lady Sydney had declared that it was time to decorate the main building and the grounds for Christmas once the Migard calendar said it was December. Svalin didn't know much about decorating, but she could carry the boxes of decorations and reach the high places for Sydney. She was always eager to lend a hand and enjoy watching Zoey and Solver's faces light up at the sight of twinkling lights and shiny decorations.

She was carrying the last box of decorations down from the attic.

To hear mine own mother tell it, it ist when they discover the kitchen knives that they become hard to reign in," Brandr says while moving the mistletoe out of the way. "Well, isn't it obvious? I knocked her up." Vernique smiles, but quickly apologizes. "Sorry. Human joke. Svalin was spending time with the Avengers when I was an Avenger. Her father's idea. A few of us got dragged off on a cross-temporal incident, and she and I got close. Then she met Solver's dad, and I encouraged her little, and then oops! Solver was on his way. I had to have her back."

He smiles and shakes his head at the apology, indicating there was no need for it. "That ist most noble of you milady." Then he bursts into a big grin. "I had not known thou wert part of the Avengers! Mine father hast told me many a great tale of them. Mayhap ye can share tales of a few of thine adventures?" Because as great as it was to have your own, Brandr did enjoy hearing about the adventures of others. At least partially to give him ideas.

"There ist no need to self thineself short milady, all roles art needed. I art sure ye have adventure to tell, I wouldst be interested to hear a few and art sure the young lord would enjoy them." Because all Asgardian adventure tales were out the window for the boy on account of inappropriate ratings due to bloodshed, and Brandr was of the opinion that everyone still needed to hear a good tale or two of adventure even with those heavy restrictions.
