How was one supposed to feel knowing that tomorrow they would die? Svalin was fully aware that when she went into battle there was a good chance she wouldn't come back. This was different. She was going to die tomorrow. There were no doubts. It was unsettling to know death was certain, but Svalin had other things to focus on.

Her wife and son.

Today would be a day she was going to focus on them and not on tomorrow. She had the day planned out, but there was one thing she had to do before spending time with her son and wife.

She got the number from Sydney and called Jordan Bochs from Alpha Flight.

"E'erything ist as it shouldst be," Svalin said not wanting to go into much detail about tomorrow. "Mayhap she wilt talk to thee about it."

"If you say so..." he's not at all sure, but he's not going to pry either. "I'll do what I can for her."
