just a quick visit home
It'd been awhile since Dmitri had visited his family at the mansion, but he always felt at home there. He was already walking around in his underwear, raiding the fridge, and not caring who saw. Though, he was keeping his eye on the time. Vlad should have been up by then, because they were supposed to do some brotherly bonding in half an hour.

Until then, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Apparently lack of caring about clothing was a Rasputin thing here since Vlad had only bothered to get half dressed before deciding that he needed to go grab something to eat before he met up with Dmitri. When he gets to the kitchen he's not all that surprised to see his brother there. But cinnamon toast crunch? Perfect.

Vlad slides onto a stool at the kitchen island and swipes the cereal box. "Доброе утро," he yawned and poured himself the last of the cereal. "Man, we need to get more of this stuff, it goes fast."

	Little man was lucky Dmitri was already done with the box, or else a older brother beat-down would have been necessary. The idea of it was amusing, and brought back fond memories. "Доброе утро, Влад," he Dmitri replied back. "Probably goes too fast because you eat it all." Granted, Dmitri had always been the one with a more... voracious appetite. 	Vlad would've shot back the usual quip about being the tall one with a grin. Sure, Dmitri might know the weird obscure languages and have the biggest appetite, but he got the tall genes so as the younger brother he had to milk that. "I have to! "You're denying me my right to hush money? Harsh. Not that I'd pay you any but still."

He ticked off his fingers as he listed the next part off. "Okay, so I've covered the obligatory how are you and questions about school. Which leaves the mandatory questions about outside of school activities, girls, how's California, any future plans, and the obvious one mom would want me to do of 'you need to visit more often'. Go!"

Dmitri had been fair game, though in the years since he hadn't gone telling mom anything and knew Dmitri was just teasing him about it like usual.
