just a quick visit home
It'd been awhile since Dmitri had visited his family at the mansion, but he always felt at home there. He was already walking around in his underwear, raiding the fridge, and not caring who saw. Though, he was keeping his eye on the time. Vlad should have been up by then, because they were supposed to do some brotherly bonding in half an hour.

Until then, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

And Dmitri was in nothing but his underwear. Well, let's just call this a Supermodel Brother Brawl.

Since Dmitri knew swords and knives didn't do much of anything, he just willed the iron in his body to form and under-armor, similar to the one his brother unconsciously got. Not quite as strong, but effective. And to top it off, he had stud poking out of his knuckles some added punch to, well, his punches. And then he assumed his fighting stance.

"As if I'd let you win. But I'll give you the chance to attack first."

	Clearly they didn't care about clothes or if they had an audience. "Fair enough, not like you getting the first hit does anything," he smirked and stepped in for a quick, but obviously powerful, punch aimed at his brother's jaw. He could have dodged it, but then he wouldn't be able to remember what a full-force punch to the jaw from a super strong person felt like. So Dmitri took the hit, and it sent him hurtling back. And it definitely broke his jaw, even with the armor beneath his skin.

Like stated before, it wasn't as good as Vlad's.

Even so, Dmitri was already getting back up. He grabbed his jaw and forced it back into the right position, and let the healing begin. He couldn't talk just yet, but there was a hint of a grin. That was probably for the grilling, right?

Dmitri started forward, and quickly. He went in low to bypass his brother's guard, and aimed an uppercut for Vlad's chin. He made sure to twist his arm into the hit, for that added kick. Maybe Vlad was invulnerable, but Dmitri was going to try his damn hardest. After all, who else had a punching bag that didn't get hurt?

It wasn't unusual in their fights that most of the hits actually landed. After all, there wasn't as much of an incentive to dodge. So the, okay yeah sort of satisfying, crunch beneath his fist upon impact wasn't a surprise.

He grins right back at Dmitri as he's getting up. Yep, that was indeed for the grilling.

Dmitri's attack does get past his, rather unenthusiastic, guard and his brother's punch hits full force, knocking his head back and the spikes in the fist ripping off the skin under his jaw. Vlad half stumbles back a step on impact still with the smile. It felt good not needing to hold back or roll with punches to not hurt the other person. No, Dmitri could handle the damage one got from hitting the invulnerable guy but even better, he could handle the full force of his punches.

This time it's Vlad who comes in low, next attack aimed at the solar plexus, not holding back in the least.

	Still, every so often, Dmitri did need to dodge. He might be able to heal really well, but he did feel pain. Instead of taking this hit, he vaulted over and above his brother and brought his fists together side-by-side. He dropped down from above in an attempt to smash his closed fists into the back of his brother's head and force him into the ground. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The lack of feeling much pain was a good advantage to have, but it did mean that Dmitri was the better dodger of the two. So his vaulting over the taller brother works and the double fist smash sends his face to the ground. But without the pain to disorient him, he can act fast to retaliate, wasting no time in reaching out to grab part of his landing brother and make a move to try yanking him down to smash him to the ground too.

Which works. Vlad successfully grabbed Dmitri by the ankle and it wasn't long before Dmitri felt his body slam into the ground. It cratered underneath him, and he felt bones crack.

"господи!" he shouted when he hit the ground. Sounds like his jaw was all better now. He'd be a lot better if his brother's grip on his ankle would loosen up, though. But instead of bitching about it, Dmitri curled up and started throwing punches at his brother's head until Vlad did something about it.

Just because the punches at his head didn't hurt did not mean they weren't distracting, annoying and a tad disorienting. Yeah, this wasn't going to do. So he does release Dmitri's ankle. But only momentarily so he can pounce and try to pin his brother down and attack again. Much like Dmitri had done to him when they wrestled years ago before powers kicked in. But back then he'd been the significantly smaller one. Ah, tables turning in that department was nice.

Vlad would have to wait a bit longer for the tables to turn on that one. Besides, what would his girlfriend say if she walked in on her half-naked boyfriend pinning down his older brother who was wearing only underwear (which was actually at risk of getting ripped apart).

The second Vlad let go of his ankle, Dmitri rolled back and narrowly avoided getting pinned. Just because Vlad was the bigger guy, didn't necessarily mean he was that much slower than Dmitri. In fact, Vlad was decently quick. He just didn't have much of a need to apply evasion and quickness to his fighting style, and that was probably the only reason Dmitri was better at it.

"Nice try, but you'll never get a chance to do that one."

	Clearly the two of them hadn't thought the clothing situation out before starting this fight. Not like they cared though. 	"It'll be a long time before you manage to pin me down, little man," Dmitri teased. He rushed forward, feeling refreshed and ready to strike again. 	He sees what Dmitri is doing, and while it's a plan he's fine with, the punches mean that he's got his target up close. And he's not missing that opportunity. After letting a few of the flurry of punches in to scrape away some of his exposed skin, Vlad manages to block one to make his opening to start returning the attack with a slugfest of his own. The first punch from Vlad bypassed Dmitri's own guard, and just left an opening for his little brother to follow up with some good hits of his own. But Vlad is also just really strong, of course, and he ends up sending Dmitri hurtling backwards again. He'd found that the best plan when fighting his super strong brother was to just let the hit throw him -- it did less damage that way.

So Dmitri was thrown back, and he was hurting. But he was also recovering and getting up. He decided it would be a good idea to make an outer-armor, too. Double the protection, you know? yeah, really good idea. That would lessen the blow a bit more.

With Dmitri if you wanted to throw him off his game or do anything more than inconvenience him, holding back wasn't an option. But that usually meant getting less hits in.

When the outer-armour goes up Vlad just grins. Oh now things were getting good, outer-armour was a great sign. While Dmitri is recovery Vlad takes advantage of the scenery. Literally.

Because now Dmitri will have his brother hurling blocks from the ruins straight at him as if they were nothing more than snowballs.

Gotta love it when your brother is willing to throw parts the scenery at you. Luckily, this was something Dmitri had no problem avoiding.

In fact, while he rolled and side-stepped out of the way, Dmitri fired off little nail-sized darts at his brother from the across the room. He was aiming more for the legs and the face, though many of the darts were cock-blocked by the blocks being hurled in Dmitri's direction. He hoped some made their way to his brother.

Many missed, mostly the face ones given that it was a smaller target, but not because Vlad was actually doing any dodging on purpose. No, he was moving around to grab more of the soon to be ruins to toss at Dmitri, it had nothing to do with dodging.

The nails that do hit rip through his jeans and take skin off as they go. Well these jeans weren't going to be used again, not like he actually cared. Only annoying thing was buying more clothes and explaining to mom again why he went through them so fast.

Vlad vaults up to the top of a pile of blocks (okay, it was actually supposed to be a structure but for his purposes it was a pile of ammo) and takes a moment to just rip off giant sections of skin off his torso that had already started to tear because of his brother's attacks. Yeah it was a tad odd looking, but whatever, the skin grew back/healed quickly and fuller powered fights were better.

Now back to tossing things at Dmitri.

While Vlad was ripping off his own skin, Dmitri took a moment's reprieve. He didn't want to waste anymore blood iron on a sparring session; he could only put up 50 pounds before it got dangerous. He'd created inner and outer layers of armor, and had been shooting little darts at Vlad. Not quite 50lbs worth, but close enough to it that he needed to stop producing and start using what he had.

By the time Vlad decided to keep going, Dmitri had formed a plan. His brother had the high ground, with a terrain advantage. But something told Dmitri that he could surprise his little brother with an attack from behind. Specifically, all those little darts of his blood iron were gathering behind Vlad while Dmitri dodged the blocks.

	With the high ground advantage and still some ammo to go through, Vlad stayed atop the pile and kept up with the tossing. Good practice and aiming for him, and dodging for Dmitri at least.
