Lightning Strikes
Stephen Remus sat in the office of his penthouse, smoking a cigarette as he looked out the window.

"You have your team. You ready for your first outing?" Remus asked the figure behind him.

"Yes," came the audibly distorted voice. "We know where they'll all be."

Remus takes another drag of his cigarette before responding. "Good. You've all been practicing, let's see how you do against the real thing. Good hunting."

The sound of metallic boots are heard leaving as the figure goes to announce the mission's start.

Millicent listened, nodding.

"I understand." It's then that Adrienne may realize that Millicent has led them to a place fairly clear of people. Millicent sighed as she stopped, turning to face Adrienne. "Honor is why I must do what I do now. Both professional, and personal honor." She threw off her trench coat to reveal she was wearing her Weapons Mistress armor. "I'll give you a minute to ready yourself."

	Well. This was certainly unexpected. Fortunately, she had been wearing her own uniform under her street clothes. She quickly shucked her outer garments, retrieving her boots, gloves, and mask from her bag. She bounced slightly on the balls of her feet, shifting to a fighting stance. 	That gets a bit of a smile out of Millicent as she removes a small rod from her belt, which extends into a bow-staff. "Always so cocky. I love you like a sister, Adrienne, but" Millicent's eyes harden as she charges forward, swinging her staff at Adrienne's legs. "I will prove I can beat you!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Adrienne's kick sends Millicent down, but she pushes off of her back, leaping right back to her feet. The staff suddenly changes from a stiff rod into a pair of nunchaku. "I've always been good, you just have a habit of not noticing things beyond yourself," Millicent accuses as she swings the weapon at Adrienne. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Millicent did her best to either dodge or roll with the blows from the kicks. "That was what opened my eyes. The black spot on our friendship." She swings the nunchaku once as a feint before turning with an elbow strike. "In the end all things fell back to you and what you thought. Well this time I'm going to prove that I am your equal!"
