Lightning Strikes
Stephen Remus sat in the office of his penthouse, smoking a cigarette as he looked out the window.

"You have your team. You ready for your first outing?" Remus asked the figure behind him.

"Yes," came the audibly distorted voice. "We know where they'll all be."

Remus takes another drag of his cigarette before responding. "Good. You've all been practicing, let's see how you do against the real thing. Good hunting."

The sound of metallic boots are heard leaving as the figure goes to announce the mission's start.

	Gold Tarantula moved in a twirling pattern to avoid Iron Widow's fire, though a few pinged off his armor, though they only caused minor cosmetic damage. "We meet again, Iron Widow. Except this time I can give you my full attention." Both hands extended, launching a barrage of smaller blasts at Anya. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"A little out of the loop there, buddy," Anya said as she avoided the blasts. Though not fast enough. One clipped her in the leg. It knocked her to the side, but she recovered. 	"Iron Girl? Not nearly as imposing," he said in reply. The burst hits, temporarily forcing his systems off. However, this was anticipated as his suit's secondary systems took a moment to come online and goes from a drop to a sudden charge at Anya, coming at her like a missile. 	Gold Tarantula saw her chest glowing and quickly activated his miniature forcefield, though the blast still sent him reeling back, canceling out the field he put in place. "Nice trick." Then his own chest starts glowing. "See how you like mine." And then a uni-beam-like blast of his own came thundering toward Anya. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gold Tarantula tries to get a read on Anya's signal until he suddenly picked up her signal coming sharply from the other side of the building. He turned in time to collide with Anya. 	She shot straight up and deployed countermeasures to handle the missiles. She turned and flew toward him. The gauntlets opened and small devices shot out and homed in on him. They would stick to his armor and unleash a powerful charge. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The devices are affected by the EMP, but Anya's suit wasn't. She had been hit by EMPs in the past and had hardened her suit against them. Starks did learn. While he was expecting her to be out of action for a few moments, she flew at him and collided with him. She increased the output of the ZPEM, increasing the power of her suit and took a swing at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tarantula was taken off guard as Anya rammed him. The breath taken out of him, he barely caught Anya's fist in time. When he did, his palm started to charge with energy in an attempt to damage her arm. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Anya diverted power to the force field shields. They held, but they flickered when he grabbed her. The suit was holding for now, but wouldn't if he continued his attack.

She upped the power even more. The suit was now at max and Anya could probably lift over a hundred tons. The ZPEM was only at seventy percent output. The suit couldn't hand more energy.

She brought her hands up and unleashed dual repulsor blasts and a uni-beam at the same time.

	Iron Girl hadn't been expecting that. The projectiles went through her shields and embedded into her armor. A few tips went through the armor and bit into skin. It hurt, but she couldn't let it stop her. Not now. She charged ahead and in to find him. She threw a powered punch. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The punch hit and Iron Girl went flying backward. She managed to stop herself before she went into a building. Her helmet was dented, but still working. She flew toward him, letting another EMP blast at him quickly followed by missiles. Hopefully the one-two hit would work. (Reply to this)(Parent)
