Moving Meditation (Hal)
When Svalin needed to think she headed to the training room. Smashing and killing things, in a sense, helped her clear her mind. When she was fighting things she blocked everything else out and focused on the task in front of her.

I art with the people I love and doth enjoy what I do. Whether it be fighting evil here on Migard or Asgard's enemies. I art not unhappy." "And I love thee brother," she said. 	"I art not lying," she said and her hand went to her sword. Svalin didn't lie. Lies hurt or worse, got people killed. Even when they were kids and got caught doing something they shouldn't had been doing, she never lied. She always told the truth and didn't do well when people accused her of lying. 	Svalin shook her head. "Nay. Mine wife wilt not appreciate such sparring each month." Sparring with her brother usually meant bruises, broken bones or worse and her wife did not look upon such well. 	Every other time they've sparred, it was for the purpose of sparring. Those times, he marshals his patience and focuses on tactics. This time, they're fighting for a bet, and thus fighting, for real. He doesn't hold back, coming at her with a fierce axe sweep. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin had expected the charge and attack. Her sword shifted to staff and came to meet the swing of the axe. The two weapons met and she used all of her strength to keep axe from finding flesh. While they were momentarily at a still, she aimed a foot at his knee. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He takes the kick, leg starting to go out from under him. He pushes off with the other foot, with their weapons locked, trying to tackle her with momentum still behind him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin knew she would fall and she grabbed the handle of his axe with a hand. As she fell she pulled on the handle and moved to put feet under him. She released the axe and moved to push him over her with legs. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's less cautious than usual in their duels, indeed, fighting more like he would a proper enemy - starting with the fact he's not talking. He comes back at her, swinging low with the axe, freeing an off-hand mid-swing to backhand towards her face if she blocks low. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin did block low and his hand caught her face. White hot pain spiked and her head whipped back. She stumbled back a few steps and shook her head to clear the pain. She growled and charged at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
