Manny was getting ready for movie night. He had a big bowl of chocolate-chip cookie dough ice cream in one hand, and a bag of cheddar cheese Ruffles in the other. He hadn't decided on what to watch yet, but that was half the fun.

"Oh good! Then you'll like my present!" Martin grinned and took off his hat to peak into it and check the present was there before letting it float out. What 'it' was, was in fact a stack of what looked like playing cards. "I was trying to put spells in cards for others to use and I made extras for you." The cards spread themselves out on the table and start sorting into 3 coloured stacks. "Red is to make your stuff fire and explosion proof! And blue is for water-proof but the yellow ones, I made mostly those for you, are like...damage proof? So if you scratch yourself the clothes won't rip! I fixed them for you so all you have to do is put one on the clothes and then tap it twice, they're real durable don't worry, and poof! Scratch proof!"

He grinned expectantly at Manny, waiting for a reaction.

No very clear outward panic from Manny was a good sign, and had Martin incredibly happy.

"You do nice things for people you like. And you've been really nice to me Manny." He stopped to look down at his hands and continue in a more subdued but still quietly pleased tone. "Thanks for talking to me and stuff and being my friend even if you don't like magic much. It's nice having friends again." At least he was pretty sure they were friends.

	There was a slight glow that engulfed the pillow before the card's colour seemed to dull and Martin made it float away. "Now you have to scratch the pillow with your claws. Try!" He'd tested this out already, the pillow wouldn't tear with that sort of pressure. Maybe something more extreme it might but the usual scratching? No. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Martin seem pleased that he'd impressed Manny and that the spell had worked. "Well, this is mostly for spells I'm used to. But you can put a spell in something like a card for later, immediate, use. Or for someone who doesn't use magic to use. I was making these to try teleportation cards for the team in case of emergencies but wanted to test out simpler spells first. I put these ones on all my clothes along with other ones, so I'm good with them. I thought you'd find them useful too!"

"Thank you," he smiled proudly. Compliments on his magic use were the best ones for him. "It's really easy to use, and good in case we have a mission and you need to get out fast. I can do it because I can teleport but the rest of you can't. But with this you just tap and boom! You're gone."

He considered Manny's suggestion. "These ones you have aren't. But that's a good idea, I should try and do that. I'd have to ask Dr. Strange for how to do it or help but I think it's possible! Or, well, it should be. That way nobody else can take your cards."
