When Cable finally speaks up, it's in a language of which Kelly will know a few tactical words, and Manny will only know that it sounds a little like some of the worst of Bea's cursing when she's angry. Bea answers in the same language, guardedly.

Laz rolls his eyes and stuffs his face with fruit and cookies, determined to enjoy it even if the Daysprings have Gone There.
