Work Therapy (open)
Tim had taken a week off after he had been rescued and it helped clear his head. He had argued that he was fine and wanted to get back in the lab, but they forced him to take a week off. As soon as he was allowed back in his lab he got back to work. Work was the best way for him to deal with what happened and to move on.

He /did/ have a lot to catch up on and had eagerly thrown himself at it.

Sammy did adore the big teddy bear. A part of her wished she could forget he was her best friend and be more. She was happy in her current understanding with Power. Tim deserved somebody who could be 100% what he wanted.

Maybe she'd talk with the deputy director about a summer detail to another office anyway.

"Maybe it'll happen. I have hope. Do you want another beer?"

	"I know, I know. I couldn't have passed the science courses without you tutoring me." She shrugged. "Life would be too tame doing anything else. Sammy rolled her eyes once. Not more than twice. "You have that now. You hole up in a lab on a daily basis, you blow stuff up and you make beer that the rest of us try to steal."

Speaking of stealing, she grabbed for a fry off his plate. "And that makes you something of a danger junkie yourself. Think about it. Blowing stuff up is a dangerous occupation. You climb mountains for the thrill of it. You scuba with the sharks. We haven't really fallen far from the family tree. It makes me wonder if they put something in the formula when we were babies."
