Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee
It was Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee, a nightclub in new York, and open to all ages. Bands, singers and poets from all over the city were in attendance. The place was crowded, loud and the people were having fun.

	The band members scattered in different directions when Daniel crashed onto the stage. Bo moved away from the keyboards and the high pitched note stopped. The band members started running toward the back door. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Elaine had done her best to plug her ears and help take care of the bystanders, but once it let up, "Rufus. Get the fire out." Goodness, how would that look. They stopped robbery by /burning down the building./

Elaine is not her mother, particularly not in the field of battle. But she's spent years trying, in the field of athletics, to be her paternal grandfather. And a Wingfoot is not getting outrun by all of these losers.

	He's not how much that awfully high pitched noise has affected things, probably not a good time to go flipping around just yet. So Ben focuses on shooting webbing at the back door, trying to create a giant web to stop them from using that exit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Right put out the fire," Rufus says getting up. He was a lot better at starting them than putting them out. Still he reached out to the fire as he made his way over to it to contain it where it was till he could figure out something better or wait till the place's emergency fire stuff went off. 	Daniel shakes off the worst of the confusion, getting his head in the fight now that the high pitched whine has stopped. He's still nowhere near full power, but he's picking up speed, picking a target and going after him at increasing velocity to go for the flying tackle. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Roach grabbed a light stand and took a swing at the charging Daniel. Webbing covered the door and blocked their way out. Lana grabbed the closest hand and ran to the side, hoping to run toward the front door. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Awesome, web covering the door worked! Until he saw Rufus stamping out the fire and realized that had sorta blocked an exit in case of fire...oops. Okay so maybe he wasn't quite the best at this hero bit, he was still new after all. But that web on the door was damn good at least. Power control did not make one suddenly experienced at life saving. Well...luckily Rufus...seemed to have it under control? Hopefully?

Yeah maybe he should go help that out. Webbing was fireproof after all. So Ben leaped over to where Rufus was working. "Need any help?" He whispered and began shooting webbing around where the fire was to keep it from spreading and slowing working his way in to the center to shrink the fire further until one of them could put it out.

	The light stand catches Daniel full in the face - bending the light stand around the side of his head with a clang. For his own part, Daniel doesn't move. In his current state, that stings a good bit - but he doesn't let on. "Seriously?" he asks, eying the bent weapon, before taking a swing of his own. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Duane was wrapped up by Elaine while Sheena was tackled by Dante. Lena and Bo made it to the front door and went out with the crowd that was leaving the building. Roach got clipped with Daniel's punch and went flying into the drum set. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"...Looks like it," Ben agreed as the fire seemed to go out. Others had...most of them wrapped up. That was the cue to go get changed. "See you in a minute," he added in a whisper.

Shooting out web lines to the floor, he used them to propel himself, sliding across the floor and by their broken table, taking the chance to snag his clothes from Elaine's instrument case as he slid by. And then it was disappearing act time to go get changed and meet back up with the others.

	Daniel hangs out, toying with his guitar a bit, and being more than happy to talk to the police. He'll cover for the other heroes, trying to make sure his story will match that of the band members and bystanders without mentioning any names, and will give out the number to reach his dad if needed. 	Dad didn't have a public ID, and Ben totally understood his reasons why honestly, so he made the effort to keep his under wraps too. When the others were done with all the cop stuff, Ben appeared again, back in civies, and jumped back into the group as if he hadn't left. "So...anyone up for burgers in the meantime?"
