Happy Birthday Lena (open)
Lena would receive a package containing a few bottles of beer Tim brewed and a tee shirt that had the molecular formula for caffeine on it. In addition he sent a pound of Kona roast coffee. The card inside included an invitation to dinner on a night of her choosing.

	Josh and Lena still hadn't spoken since Josh's confession months ago. Josh mentally berated himself every day for possibly sabotaging his friendship with the scientist. He didn't want to intrude on her privacy, so he left her birthday card with a coupon for Starbucks in it. He wished he could say more, but..he just couldn't bring himself to say anything. 	She felt bad for really not answering his confession and leaving him high and dry like that. It was cowardly but she sucked at this stuff. So she was surprised to find the Starbucks card from him. It was touching though, so she left a note at his desk that said. Thanks for not singing. She'd done much worse for his birthday after all. (Reply to this)(Parent)
