"I'll consider it" is as good as yes in his books
It was a slow day today, summer and all meant he had no school or classes, and since it was a weekend...no work at that internship he'd gotten for the summer either. But he did remember a certain secluded scientist mutant who'd agreed to go out for pizza one day. Sure he'd seemed a little...unenthusiastic about the whole thing but hey, the guy needed to get out sometime.

So Vlad got dressed to go outside, grabbed car keys and went off to go find Fred, wherever the guy might be.

	Vlad waited outside the passenger side, leaning against the car and giving Fred the time he needed to prepare himself. It also served to block most passerbys view of Fred when he first got out of the car, just in case any last minute fixes needed there. "How're you feeling Fred? Pizza mood?" "Only one way to find out..." He grinned and half turned, arm extending out to indicate the pizza place. "To pizza it is!" And he led the way to the door. Being nearly 6'4 and not exactly lanky meant he tended to draw attention, which he was used to and it was actually good in this case since it kept a lot of it off Fred if he led the way and was the first thing people saw.

	Fred cringed a little. He was still getting used to Vlad's more..open personality. Still, Fred could appreciate the value of having someone draw attention away from him. He did glance down once more to make sure his pants and boots hid his legs and feet properly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He'd make sure they got a corner booth or an out of the way seat in case anyway. There was little point dragging Fred out of the mansion if they were going to get pizza to go. But Vlad made sure to do all the talking needed in the beginning, amicably chatting up the staff and just being his friendly self. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vlad didn't comment on it, just continuing being the open smiling one to offset any suspicious impressions Fred might make. When they were left at their table with menus, Vlad leaned back in his seat and gave Fred a smile. "See? So far so good." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Vlad tended not to worry too much about that stuff. After all, like there was really someone here who could stop him if he was barrelling towards an exit. "No, there are much worse things I could say for things that qualify under than category. But I won't because...well my luck isn't the best and I have no idea about yours."

He flipped open a menu casually and flipped to the interesting page. "Anything catch your eye Fred? Pizza wise of course not girls wise," he joked.

	He snapped the menu shut now that they had an order in mind and were only waiting for the waitress. "Ah, small company that does website design. 	Vlad smiled and shook his head. "Nah, can't do it, Fred. Even if I wanted." He pressed his thumb into the edge of the table, slowly creating a small dent in it. "No need to be sorry. I only play sports for fun at the mansion anyway. Wouldn't do it as a job if I could regardless. It's fun and all but not exactly the sort of thing that gets me really interested. Hell, I'm not a hardcore sports fan of anything. Watching it, sure, but..." He paused to give their order, the large Meat Supreme, two drinks, oh and an order of garlic cheese sticks to start off because why not.

When the waitress was gone, he shrugged with a smile. "I like other things a lot more you know?"
