All Hallow's Eve (Alpha Flight)
The town of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada had a population that was close to 5500. It wasn’t a big town in terms of towns, but it had a long history and was in a good location. It sat in Conception Bay protected from the harsh winter storms and not far from St. Johns the capital of the island allowing the town to be a hub for transportation and distribution for the island.

It was Halloween and the residents were celebrating. The children were dressed up and trick-or-treating and some adults were dressed up as well. Some adults dressed up as things from pop culture and some a ghoulish fiends. It was a night of fun for everyone.

Along the shore in the bay a more sinister thing was happening. Dark misshapen figures crawled out of the water and crawled ashore. These were creatures of nightmares and they weren’t costumes. The Deviants, with a few priests, started walking toward the town.

	The deviants were sucked into the vortex, but they tried to claw and swipe at the girl as they went. They were unsuccessful and ended up hitting each other rather than the girl. Others noticed the commotion and started heading toward the girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Marrina kept up the speed, slowly starting to head toward the surface. If she could keep it up, she'd wind up with a water spout that would send them flying. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The ones in the vortex lifted out of the water and went flying due to the water spout. More closed in from behind the shark and around the girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The deviants continued their attacks. The punch connected with one and it went back into another one. Three others closed in around her. Four closed in around the shark. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Damn. There were way too many of them for the number they're already taken down. Marrina shifted away from crab armor, instead growing angelfish spines along her arms, She swung them in an arc, showering the enemy with them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The deviants continued to press in. Their numbers were not endless and all that were left in the water were now around Marrina and Alex. The angelfish spikes went into deviant flesh as they moved in. They slowed a bit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This was going a little too slowly. Alex shifted into a form that would allow him to take out more than one at a time. A nine headed hydra grabbed the three remaining deviants. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
