Short Notice
He got the email from Mom, sent back the information, and now had to tell Cait the party was in a matter of days. And that he'd volunteered her to go shopping with Mom. Tomorrow afternoon.

Mom enjoyed a certain reputation. Misha wanted to make sure that Cait knew it wasn't as bad as they said.

Cait sat down by the lake and stared at the letter in her hands. It was really happening. She read it a few times just to make sure she understood what it said.

Her parents were not going to be pleased, but Cait really couldn't handle sitting in classrooms for three more years. She had barely gotten through her time here at Xavier's and she had had enough school for awhile. She was the type to do, not sit, and it was now time to get out there and actually do something. The Coast Guard was perfect.

She loved helping people, loved the water, and would get paid for doing it. She couldn't abide the thought of being dependent on someone else for things. This would give her the chance and do the things she liked doing and she'd get paid for it.

Now she just had to tell her parents that she wouldn't be going back to school after classes ended in Dec.

	Cait was a little startled by the sudden voice. She hadn't been expecting company. The air was cold and damp and most people stayed inside on days like this. "My acceptance letter. 	He laughed out loud. It felt good. Clean. "You'll be great at it, too. They just love you and want you to have the world. Maybe if you take an online class they'll ease off a little when they see you're still moving forward, just at a different pace? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Misha wasn't packing until he got to his apartment. That would be where all the approved Mom clothes lived, and it was that sort of an event. His ripped jeans and three thread boxers wouldn't be welcome, even if they were the most comfortable clothes he owned. He knocked on Cait's door. "Hey, you survive the afternoon?" 	Cait nodded. "Apparently the woman is diabolical. I only needed a dress and shoes and I somehow got all of this. Despite many protests that I didn't need all of this. 	Cait stretched her abilities to the limit and grabbed a stream of water from the lake. It was a good distance away and Cait had never tried at this distance before. She created a statue identical to Corey's, just made of ice. She looked at both. "You're still better than I am." There was a smile for her brother. She was proud of him. "Feel like taking a trip?"
