Another Trip Around the Sun
Dad's birthday. Probably one of the few days of the year Anya never looked forward to. She loved spending time with her father and loved celebrating his birthday, but the man was IMPOSSIBLE to get gifts for. What did you get the man who has everything and if he did't have it he probably didn't want it in the first place? It was a dilemma she faced three times a year; dad's birthday, father's day and Christmas.

This year had proven extremely difficult. Anya would swear it got harder each time she had to get him something.

This year it had been a group effort. The kids, all four of them, worked together and got him something. It was sappy and a bit cheesy, just the type of thing Dad ate up.

Lunch had been scheduled and the location given to them by Mom. Informal and relaxed and best of all, burgers! It was the one food the whole family could agree on without arguments.

Anya was the first to arrive at DBGB Kitchen and Bar on 299 Bowery between Hudson and 1st. It had some of the best burgers in the city and it was the perfect place for a Romanov-Stark lunch.

"The usual?" she asked. Food was one of the areas where Starks could be predictable. It was in everything else where they weren't.

When Tony gets the gift unwrapped he'll find a digital picture frame with photos already in it.

The first picture was a professional picture of all the kids. The next four were more professional pictures, but this time the kids were being silly. There was one where they all had clown noses on, one where they were giving each other bunny ears and two more with them being silly.

The rest of the pictures were various candid shots of each of the kids as they went about their lives. There were one or two of the girls in robes and their faces covered with night cream.

"It's corny, but you like corny," Anya said as she flagged a waitress down. Best order and get food before the natives get restless. "Not to mention you're impossible to shop for."
