Alex yelled when the scimitars bit into his claw. Claws didn't have nice hard scales to protect him. The breath weapon stung, but scales protected Alex for the most part.

He was going to fling the monster into a wall, but he saw Marrina's tentacle wrap around the thing's mouth. Alex opted for trying to squish the monster.
