Mason had already withdrawn from his fight with the dark-skinned humanoid Deviant, when he found himself stumbling away from crossfires into even more complications.

Mason started making handfuls of base compound and flinging it around at the burning spots from the monster's acid, trying to back up the two others already fighting it.
