You Poke and You Prod, You Batter and You Bruise @ 10:26 pm

The lie-smith had drawn lots with the lady of strife, and they'd each chosen a handful of targets. Loki had, of course, cheated. His hobby and his grandson were too amusing to leave to chance. His favored granddaughter might feel some of the sting of this game, but all that he did served the greater Loki, which was what mattered in the end.

These days would be most amusing.

No Better Toy Than Mortals (but family will do, in a pinch) @ 07:07 pm

Loki was bored. That alone should be terrifying enough for those who know his nature, but he was also feeling creative. It had been too long since he had collaborated with another in one of his games for sport. What is mischief without someone else to appreciate it, after all? He'd been enjoying the occasional poke at the sorceress' mongrel over the past few decades, but the latest generation of mortal heroes had felt far too little of disarray, of dissent, of distrust, of....

His smile twisted his features.

Discord.

Moving through secret paths, shadowed from Heimdall's eyes or Hermes' footfalls, he went to go visit his very favorite Olympian.

Osiris rises from his seat, now that everyone has responded to the invitation. Everyone who received one, at least.

He stamps his staff of office, drawing eyes to him.

"We are aware that there have been significant signs and portents of change coming. We are also aware no one has yet determined the nature of this, unless someone is hiding information from the rest. We also notice that one of our number has not been invited. Anyone care to explain?"

Loki gazes into a pool, watching Halbjorn and Svalin spar. It had taken a great deal to hide himself - even young gods were perceptive to such magics, even those as dense as the young Bear, but this time he felt it was worth it. Recent events had caught his attention, and he was sure it wouldn't be long before it would capture Odin and Mirmir's as well.

"My brother's oldest has returned." he explains quietly to the other lesser mystics gathered around the pool, brought there at his call. "And... something has changed. I'm uncertain what, but I can feel it. Losing track of her was annoying... but something important happened during her disappearance. We must learn what."

The God of Fire and Mischief scowls. He does not like things hidden from him - and even less enjoys having to admit it. "We must be patient though. Gather resources, sources of power the whelps of Thor won't expect or notice. We must not tip off my brother too soon."
