Emma Parker was in pretty good spirits, considering that her friend and co-worker for the past year was now gone. Jack had quit the BAU, for whatever reason, Emma didn't know. It wasn't as if Jack was the sharing type. But Emma was, and she liked to think of everyone she worked with as her friend. She didn't really have a life outside of work, after all. Working in the BAU sort of made that kind of thing difficult. Seeing the terrible things human beings did to one another made it hard to trust them, at least for Emma.

It was early, and Emma was bright eyed and bushy tailed with a cup of coffee in each hand. It was when she was walking past her boss' office that she caught a glimpse of the new guy, who she'd only known as Agent Micah Bishop, and who she'd now be calling Agent Gorgeous Gorgeous. She may not have been out there in the dating world, but she could certainly take notice of a very good looking man when she saw one, and Micah was definitely good looking.

She wet her lips and looked ahead, really not wanting to spill coffee on her freshly pressed white button up shirt. Her dark hair, like always, was pulled up in a messy bun, and a pencil was tucked behind her ear. Slacks, as usual, were of a dark color - today navy, and her slip on flats matched the color to a T. She was a little crazy about her shoes matching. It was obvious by the pep in her step that she had something very good that she wanted to talk about to somebody, and that piece of good info was the pretty man she'd seen just moments ago.

Wyatt glanced at Micah. He thought the move was surreptitious, but in reality it was anything but smooth. To have a specific assignment with him was exciting and terrifying. The worst part was that he wouldn't have any time to bombard Emma or Jude with questions about what he should do in such a situation.

When Liam stood up, the rest of the crew was free to leave and grab their away bags. Their plane would leave shortly. Wyatt headed back to his desk and rooted around underneath it to gather his things in preparation to leave.

Mick grabbed her bag from beneath her desk, and she was rifling around for her cell phone charger when Wyatt came by to go to his desk. "I'm sure your hormones will be working doubletime, Winston," she teased with a smirk and a wink. Mick was never subtle, it just wasn't her style. She viewed Wyatt like a little brother and her habit of teasing him was never going to go away.

"He's--" Wyatt's cheeks flushed and he shook his head. "He's having a very physical affect on me. I don't know what to do." His eyes glanced around to be sure no one was within earshot. He was certain he didn't want the whole office to know what was going on. He treated this more like a medical problem than anything else. Mick's teasing was almost lost on him sometimes, but he did catch it this time. It served to fluster him as he opened his "Micah Notebook" and jotted this down.

Mick couldn't help but chuckle, a thoroughly amused look settling upon her face. She hadn't ever seen Wyatt flustered over another person before, not in... this sort of way. It was really sort of adorable.

"Aw," she cooed, reaching over to pinch at one of his cheeks playfully before she pulled back. "He's an attractive guy. I'm not even into guys and I can say that," she added as she found her charger and shoved it into her bag. "Have you ever been attracted to a guy before?" she asked after a moment, keeping her voice down as she glanced over at Wyatt.

He scrunched up his face when Mick pinched his cheek, but he never minded the attention. When she asked that question though he seemed to retreat back into himself, fiddling with his pen. "I've never really been attracted to anyone before." It didn't bother him that the first was a man, it just bothered him that he didn't understand the exact mechanics of why it was this man.

"Interesting," Mick replied, and though she wanted to pry about the status of Wyatt's virginity, she kept that to herself. She was sure that she all ready knew the answer, anyway, so there wasn't really a need to ask about it. "I had my first crush on a girl in the third grade. Wendy Quinn, totally hot little redhead," she said with enthusiasm as she nodded her head. "We kissed."

"In the third grade?" He looked a little surprised. "Seventy percent of people had their first kiss by age fifteen." Wyatt twisted a little in his seat. He was among the thirty percent. "But I skipped past a lot of the normal kissing situations." Things like school dances, dating, friends in general, even a lot of school since he learned so quickly. He perked up a little though and grinned at Mick. "Did you know that one kiss can contain up to 278 different kinds of bacteria?"

Mick offered a shrug, then a nod, as if kissing a girl in the third grade was completely normal. Then again, these days, it probably was. Kids moved so much faster, and honestly, it was kind of scary.

"When was your first kiss?" she asked, pausing to arch a brow and then wrinkle her nose at his random fact. "Disgusting. Don't say anything else about that ever again, I enjoy kissing far too much to know shit like that."

"Well, 95 percent of it is not harmful to humans," he offered as if that would amend the fact into something less grotesque. "And I haven't ever kissed anyone like that." That was added on at the end quickly, tacked on as if it were a useless footnote in the grand scheme of the conversation.

He knew enough to know that his painfully abstinent life wasn't statistically common and he probably shared the fate of many unemployed men who lived in their parent's basements all across America. And while he didn't exactly miss romantic situations, he was curious about them. Now that Micah was in the picture, his curiosity had grown exponentially.

Mick gave him an odd look. He hadn't ever French kissed anybody? What? That was just... Bizzare. She just stared at him for a moment before Emma came down the steps to gather her things, and then Micah.

"You should always have an over night back ready," she was telling Micah.

"Yeah, Liam told me," Micah smiled as he grabbed his car keys. "Let me go grab it from my car and I'll meet ya back here in a second."

Emma nodded and watched him go before she smiled over at Wyatt and Mick. "I like him," she said happily.

Wyatt looked a little guilty at Emma's comment, as if he wanted to say that he liked him too but was afraid it would come out too obvious. Mick's look had made him feel even more alien. It was absolutely certain that he would need to do some research into the art, and it worried him that he hadn't come across many scientific resources on technique. He would have to find another way. Then he stopped himself. Maybe Micah wasn't even attracted to men, and if he was why would he be attracted to Wyatt. When Micah came into view, he looked down and stood up. "I'll see you guys on the plane." And he nearly ran from the office.

He ran right past Beckett, who glanced after him. "Which one of you scared him this time?"

Mick arched a brow as Wyatt took off, then she looked at Beckett and offered a faint shrug of her shoulders. "You know how he is," she smiled, the words coming out almost fondly. She zipped up her bag and plucked it up so that she could follow after Wyatt.

Emma grabbed her things and followed suit, offering Beckett a smile. "He's always nervous around new people. Once he gets use to Micah, he'll be fine."

Beckett threw Micah a mock stern glance. "Well then I'm blaming you. Don't disturb the wildlife." He broke into a grin though, unable to hold it back. He had to be playful or this job would tear him apart. "Probably good you're assigned to work with him. Watch him while you're out there--he can offend people without meaning to."

With everyone finally on the plane, Wyatt sat by himself, nose in a stack of papers. Usually he was in the middle of things, enjoying the rapport he'd built with the team, talking about the case.

"I'll try and get him to loosen up, I'm really friendly so hopefully that'll work to my advantage," Micah said to Beckett with a smile as he followed after him.

Once they were settled on the plane, Micah sat by Wyatt and flipped through the case file. "Why do you think those certain organs and parts are missing? They can't be trophies, there's too many of them."

Wyatt was thankful to concentrate on the case. The question posed by Micah was probably the most important question to ask at this stage. He was alarmed by how quickly Micah's arrival had made him lose his focus. "Well--my initial feeling is that some of these organs are those that might be used in transplants. You know those terrifying stories of waking up in an ice bath with a kidney missing. But these pictures look--I don't know. The parts are so haphazard. I would expect a more organized mentality if this was a medical business."

Micah lowered his gaze down to the photos, and he had to agree. It didn't look like a medical expert had taken part in the disections at all. He frowned a little bit and tipped his head to the side.

"Then what do you think the unsub is doing with these parts? I know some of these parts are used for satanic rituals and spells, but that's so rare..."

"That would better account for the ovaries being taken along with the other things." He hadn't let his mind go to the magical side of things. "There hasn't been a confirmed case of satanic cult murder activity in the US. But we can't ignore the fact that these organs do hold significance in certain rituals. You're right." He shifted a little in his seat. "The site didn't seem to show any signs of religious activity. This is clearly just the dump site--but why would the unsub use one spot? He must know by now that the place is compromised."

Micah took in all of the information that Wyatt was saying, and he nodded his head a little bit as the plane started to take off. Wyatt had a point. "He has to find a new place to dump the extra body parts now," he said after a moment. "If he's killing people to take significant parts, I wonder if he picks at random or if he selects his victims through another process."

The take off always made him fall silent for a moment. He liked the way his stomach jumped up into his chest and he made a pleasant little noise in the back of his throat. Once they leveled out, he was able to return to the conversation. "If the killings are only about harvest, then it would probably be useful to think about the killer as one of opportunity. But these women aren't all from one place and it seems their gender and age are all that they have in common."

Micah squinted his eyes in thought as he took in all that Wyatt was saying. He was probably right, and Mich doubted that the killings were selective. At least at the moment, he did. There was still so much that didn't know. "Maybe after Jude finds out more information about the victims, we'll be able to find a common link between them beyond their age and gender."

"Agent Montomery doesn't usually put me on interview duty. Do you have experience with working with families? I think he wants me to get used to you as soon as possible." They could treat him like the baby sometimes and it annoyed him a little. But at the same time he knew he needed it, so he didn't complain. "I think we'll be able to make some connections between the victims."

"I do," Micah said with a curt not, allowing his gaze to lock with Wyatt's as he spoke. "Working with homicide, you do many many many interviews.". The hardest was always with the victims families. It always broke his heart.
