Mom was a new agent and knocked Dad on his ass for irritating her. Dum Dum said it was practically lust at first sight by Dad. Mom took some convincing.

Wow. He must've been pretty irritating. Mom was threatening Dad as soon as she was out of the water, but that's because she thought he was working for Arcade.
