If someone told you that you had to give up all the foods you love, what is the one food that you would absolutely not give up?

Does coffee count as food?

Aye. Which they will take from my cold dead fingers.

*eyes the expression* Has it been a long time since you've had coffee?

It gets a bit rationed around here. Mum doesn't want to get me too worked up. But she'd never make me stop altogether. She knows that's unthinkable.

I'll occasionally have tea, but it's not the same. I count it lucky that there are coffee shops on nearly every corner of Manhattan.

I agree; tea's not the same.

You know, research shows four or more cups of black coffee a day can help prevent diabetes. And yet they still stop me after the third. Of course, it is Mum's coffee. My stepsisters keep saying SHIELD's threatened to get her on controlled substance issues. I never know if they're joking or not.

I'm pretty sure if it ever came to that, it's because Dad wants the secret to her coffee so he can have it brewed in the Academy cafeteria. It's a good way to separate the washouts from the real agents.

Caffeinated Darwinism. I like it.

Thank goodness Jarvis understands this and there is always coffee in the kitchen.

It's the only thing I can make without setting fire to the kitchen.

I suspect there is a connection between your luck with appliances and the fact you can operate the coffee maker.
