How often do you find it worth it to try to explain yourself to your parents?

I sometimes do and sometimes don't. Obviously, there's a lot of stuff they need to be kept up on, and they've got great insight about specific things, but on some personal stuff, can be easier to just let them make assumptions, you know? They've got Stuff to do, and they don't need details or clarifications.

	My parents left me when I was little, so talking to them was out. Gran is always good for wisdom and an inspiring story. Jake doesn't lie and doesn't sugarcoat things. I miss him a lot. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	He did make a deal, which is the sole reason that I am not incarcerated with him. He wanted to give me a chance at a life outside the organization, and he did. I work with S.H.I.E.L.D. now. So, I made a deal that allows me to work toward his release. I have a lot of work to do in order to make that happen. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
