Henry >> (backdated to last night?)
Seth was out the door the second after Leanne had fallen asleep for the night. He'd paid the Nanny triple to stay for the night. He just needed to get out of the house and get drunk. Fuck this day. Fuck being responsible. Fuck actually caring and wanting an actual family. And wanting Mira to be a main part of it. He was Seth fucking Wadcock, what was he thinking.

He was more than halfway to the bar he used to go to all the time before, when he stopped. This was probably a terrible idea. Going out drinking, upset and alone was probably the worst thing Seth could do right now. Fuck being sober enough to remember lessons learned and make smart decisions, he thought to himself as he spun on his heel and apparited away.

He knocked on his brother's door hoping that he wasn't interrupting anything important. Not that he really cared, but upsetting his brother's pregnant girlfriend would just top his day off nicely. He knocked again louder when there was no answer. Just as he was about to turn and give up, the door opened. "Thank merlin, you are home. I'm going out to get plastered, and me stopping here to invite you along to make sure I don't do anything too stupid is the last responsible thing I'm doing until tomorrow morning." He said quickly before Henry could ask any questions.

Halloween Gala - Open to All! for the 31st

Henry had shaken more hands tonight than he had in his entire career as a quidditch agent. It seemed like everyone was in agreement; the charity was a great idea and this fundraiser was turning out to be a huge success. Henry was the first to turn the talk to his brother, telling those who approached him that Seth was the mind behind it all, but apparently his brother had been boasting the exact opposite, and Henry was receiving praise he didn't normally receive.

It could really make a bloke feel like a million galleons, to tell you the truth.

Standing at a corner of the dance floor to get a good view of things, Henry felt someone slink particularly close to him and he smiled down at his glowing girlfriend. While it had taken Henry about a week to be able to talk normally without a stutter after Heidi had revealed the news, he was now brimming with pride in just about all aspects of his life.

"Are you having a good time?" he asked, putting a hand to her lower back. Henry had been scolded to not fret as much, so he refrained from asking if she was tired and needed to sit, or go home! He'd go home if she wished. "The band should be starting up again soon."

Heidi!
Henry was sure that his flat had never been this clean, and that was coming from someone who was borderline OCD. The floors had been swept and mopped, dishes were all put away, the curtains were pulled back at precisely the right curve and fell perfectly behind the furniture. Everything had to be immaculate if he wanted Heidi to agree to move in with him.

He felt like he'd been going over this plan for weeks. Which...he had been, but he'd been busy! With the new charity, dealing with new clients, dealing with annoyed clients, and even dealing with his brother in a not too frustrating of a way. Henry's relationship with Seth was better than it had ever been, but he was still wary of allowing himself to get too comfortable in case Seth randomly decided to turn back into a major pain in the ass.

Which, Henry knew, wasn't too hard to do.

Hopefully Heidi would appreciate his effort; he'd even cleared off half of nearly ever shareable surface, storage space in the flat for her to see that he was prepared for this big step, but he had also prepared himself for a negative answer. His relationship with Heidi had been a good one so far, great even, but she had been through a lot so this might be rushing things and----

The doorbell rang, and Henry jumped out of the bathroom, startled. Okay! This was it. Big night, big night. He rushed to the door, but before he opened it he stopped and relaxed himself. Didn't want to seem too nervous.

Oh Henry!
Delilah was beyond excited to be meeting up with Henry. Yes, she legitimately wanted to talk about business. Her schedule and the people wanting to sponsor her and such was getting hectic and she needed help. And who better to help her than the fabulous quidditch agent that was Henry Wadcock. Granted she didn't play quidditch but really, that was semantics.

Not to mention, she'd really use anything thing to have the excuse to pester him on a daily basis again.

So she waited patiently for him to join her at a corner booth at the Three Broomsticks for lunch. She sipped on her drink watching the door, wondering just how much she could talk Henry into doing.

Heidi!
Henry was nervous for more than one reason, but mostly he was sure he was going to get hit tonight. No, that wasn't what he feared the most, it was the fact that it was probably going to be Heidi that smacked him but---it wasn't even his fault. He had not done any snooping, he had not exposed what could be a terrible, horrible lie to the person she was dating, he was not the complete moron known as Seth Wadcock.

He was that moron's brother, and whether Henry liked to admit it or not, Seth did seem to have some sort of foundation in his claims against Heidi. How else would he have known those things about her? How had he gotten her last name right when Henry hadn't known it for weeks? It sucked, it was threatening to ruin the perfectly good relationship they'd just started, but Henry could not deal with not knowing if she was just using him just to get close to other quidditch players.

The thought really hurt him. He believed, he really, really believed that Heidi liked him for him, but she'd stalked a player before! How convenient would it be, to date an agent---Henry felt so guilty for the thoughts, but he'd been fucked over so many times before by women who just wanted to get into the lifestyle and Seth had driven him crazy all of his life and----

"Coming!" The sound of the doorbell made Henry jolt out of the kitchen, but he shot back in to turn off the stove top before he burnt his whole flat down. That would just be perfect, wouldn't it? He wiped his hands on a rag and then hurried to the door. He opened the door and let out a breath, smiling at the sight of Heidi, "Welcome to my humble abode."

Heidi
It had been a long time since Henry had a girlfriend, and he was enjoying it very much. The past...it'd been nearly a month, really, had flown by with how completely enthralled with Heidi he'd become. Henry was very good at schedules and at keeping things going at a pace he believed----it was also hard for him not to think of things in a business-like manner but---oh, she had his head spinning, he really could not explain his behavior from the last few weeks. He was sure not to overwhelm her, that Heidi felt like she had every right to not see him some day, or not. If she wanted to hold his hand, he'd surely let her, and if she wanted to kiss him, then, well, who was he to deny her of that?

Spring was already flourishing early on in the season. There was a park two blocks from the restaurant where their lunch date took place, so in a not-so-subtle, personally-thought ingenious manner, Henry suggested a walk to prolong the date. He wasn't really one for walking, or the outdoors, but Henry decided that dealing with things he may not enjoy to have some good time with Heidi was a proper new approach to life.

"I should bring a balloon home for my niece," Henry said thoughtfully, squeezing Heidi's hand as he spotted a vendor. Leanne always had a little treat waiting for her when Henry knew she was coming, and balloons were one of her favorites.

Party Post! - Sunday Night
"MONTROSE MAGPIES, THE 1982 BRITISH AND IRISH LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!"

Oh, Maggie would never get tired of hearing that. As trying as the past few weeks, months had been, seeing her stadium (her stadium) lit up with fireworks and fans and just---it was amazing, it was the best feeling she'd ever had in the whole entire world. She was a champion! Her team, they were champions! Oh, she loved her team, she really did. As much as they annoyed her all the time, they had definitely suffered through enough embarrassment and humiliation to last a lifetime and it just made them all work so much harder to get to this place.

The celebration party was set for the pitch of Montrose Stadium, a great white, billowing tent was set up almost immediately after the teams had come off the pitch, and after two hours of interviews and awards (Drake won the game M.V.P.! Maggie had jumped onto his back mid-interview), she was now dressed like a a bloody rockstar. She definitely felt like one, and would continue to feel this way all the way until next year's championship.

She felt a hand on her elbow and Maggie twisted, her eyes batting with a great smile, "What a match, huh?"

[OOC:] You can either tag at the party, or comment as if it were a news post! Interactive fun~

Henry was so bored. He was bored, and annoyed, and as he sat on the couch of his flat, Henry wondered when his life had become so boring. He was constantly at the hottest parties, the best clubs, hanging out with the most gorgeous women that he could ever imagine being near and---boring. He was bored of everything.

You know what excited him? Not that he'd ever admit it, and he always put on such a snit when asked, but Henry enjoyed spending time with his niece. Yep, they didn't do much but run the errands he needed to do, but he could talk to her and she'd smile and nod and just listen to him as if she cared. Henry mentally groaned as he came to the conclusion that he needed someone who cared, and that his almost three-year-old niece wasn't going to be able to fill that void in his life.

A sharp, sudden banging on the door of his flat knocked him out of his silent woe-is-me mantra, and Henry huffed. He shuffled his way to the door, peered through the peep hole, and frowned.

"Seth---it's nearly eleven o'clock at night, what are you doing?" Henry let out, pushing himself behind the door, peering out at his brother as he tried to hide his pajama bottoms.

His visit to Magpies Stadium did not end with the usual headache. Henry was silently pleased about his brother's efforts to stay out of the tabloids, especially since he was becoming involved with someone. Seth had shown he was far from capable of focusing on more than one thing at a time, so the fact that he was performing well on and off the field made Henry start to think that his brother was actually beginning to respect him as his agent.

Or this girl had him seriously whipped.

Either way, Henry was glad for it, and he pulled his scarf tighter around his neck as he headed toward the floo ports of the stadium. It was much easier than apparating across the bloody country, but there was usually a line of employees trying to get home that kept him there for a good half an hour before one opened for him. Fortunately he must have just missed the rush (or had beaten it) because there were only a few people waiting to catch the floo.

A woman on the next line looked terribly nervous, and Henry wouldn't have bothered to notice if he hadn't recognized her face from this morning's papers. She was the new Magpie---Cadwallader? Victoria. Henry had groaned at the sight of another pretty blond that was going to be running around his testosterone filled brother, but now he saw an opportunity. Maybe he could put her off of the idea of Seth before his brother had the chance to think about her in any other way---though with Seth's history, that was unlikely.

"Miss. Cadwallader?" Henry stepped off the line and mentally noted that he was going to have to push back his drinks with some other clients tonight. He stuck out his hand, "I'm Henry, Seth Wadcock's agent. Welcome to the Magpies."
