Kit wasn't sure this was a good idea, but he felt like it needed to happen. All his friends at school said it needed to happen. It hurt that Albus had gone home from their conversation and immediately started dating Scorpius, but they'd been together for two years and Kit missed Albus like crazy and he wanted them to be friends. It had taken him a while to get to that conclusion, but even after seeing pictures of Scorpius and Albus kissing on the internet, he wanted it. Albus was too important to be cut out of his life completely.

He'd still waited until Paris Fashion Week to show up outside Albus's door. At least he knew Scorpius would be gone. Kit took a deep breath, and then knocked.

Albus was sitting alone. Alone. Because his brand new boyfriend who loved him so much had to disappear to fashion week and couldn't really take him with him. Even if he had of gone, he'd never have seen Scorpius and he would have spent most of his time alone in the hotel anyway.

When there was a knock, he sighed to himself and hoped it wasn't some crazy religious group coming to tell him how bad homosexuals were. He pushed himself up from the couch and walked over to the door, pushing it open.

Kit was on the other side and Albus immediately felt tears stinging at his eyes. He was overcome with emotion. Emotions he didn't think he would have felt. "K-Kit?"

	Kit wasn't expecting Albus to be so emotional when he opened the door and saw him. It threw the mental reserve he'd built up right out the window and he had to dig his nails into his palms to calm himself. "Albus," he said, voice soft. "I... I needed to see you. I didn't... 	Albus immediately grabbed Kit and pulled him close to his chest, hugging him tightly. Closely. He'd missed the other boy too. More than he should have, but Kit had been a large part of his life. Kit hesitated for a moment, but this felt so good. So right. Being close to Albus again. He closed his eyes, leaning into the other boy's touch and wrapping his arms around him. He shouldn't have been letting it happen, because he still had all these feelings that Albus didn't, but he didn't want to fight it.

"I miss you," he whispered, turning his head into Albus's neck. "I miss... I miss everything, but most of all I miss being your friend. I miss being able to talk to you about our dreams and how we're going to fulfill them and music and just... everything."

	Albus looked at Kit and squeezed his hand in his own. Everything had always felt so right with Kit. So easy and fun and exciting. And while Scorpius was exciting and he loved him, he did miss things the way they had been with Kit. "You still move me, Kit." Albus told him through a teary smile. "I don't know how you do it." 	Albus had liked the kiss, even if he was telling himself he couldn't. He looked back at Kit and then kissed him softly again, not deepening it or pushing it. It was just a soft kiss that felt entirely too good. "I should have gone to your school." Albus told him, shaking his head. "Then I wouldn't have messed everything up." 	Albus smiled to himself and nodded. He knew that they were phenomenal. They'd always been so great with one another. And he didn't know why he hadn't remembered that. 	Albus smiled a bit at that. Kit was willing to fight for him. It made him feel good to hear that from Kit. It made him feel less lonely and more wanted. 	"So are you," Kit whispered, biting at Albus's bottom lip gently. "The most perfect man I've even met." He deepened the kiss and closed his eyes, leaning into Albus's touch.
