Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo (Open)
Irina wasn't one for celebrating her own birthday. She love celebrating others, but for her own she liked to find a dive bar and drink until she was seeing double or triple. Which is exactly what she was doing today, her thirtieth birthday.

She sat in a corner table, back to the wall, with a bottle of Jose Cuervo and a shot glass. She didn't even bother with the salt and lime.

Donovan Burke could empathize with the whole big 3-0 thing, even if his own birthday was a few months ago. He'd spent it working, of course, but right about now, New York wasn't a nice place to be.

He got a call from an old friend in the South and decided to head that way, hoping to find a few good drinks in the meantime. After he got set in at the motel, he walks to the first bar he finds and heads inside, ordering a bottle of Jack Daniels and a glass.

He finds a table and sits down.

	Donovan kept drinking, but noted that blonde that joined the dark-haired woman. They both looked out of place in a dive like this, making Donovan wonder what they were doing here. He takes another shot and thinks that over as he sits at the table. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Burke's eyes wander back to the women now and again, but mostly, he's thinking over everything he needs to do while he's down in New Orleans. Meet with his contact, find the bad guys, take them down.

He's also got to check in with Fury again at some point, though he's not really looking forward to that.

When the waitress comes by, he orders a beer with lemon to go with his whiskey.

When the dark-haired woman motions him over, Burke considers the pros and cons. Luckily, he's had enough to drink that his normal paranoia is only dialed down a bit. He grabs his bottle of Jack Daniels and heads over to the bar, taking a seat next to Irina and offering both women a smile.

"Good evening, ladies. My name is Don." he says, offering a hand.

"I see you two are already underway in your own party, but can I buy you a drink?" he asks.

"Nice to meet the both of you." he says, shaking both women's hands with a smile. He usually didn't smile this much.

The Russian accent is going to do him in. He motions the bartender over and gestures to Lyta and Irina.

"Please go ahead and get my new friends a drink of their choice. I'll have a White Russian, please." Donovan says.

"How are you ladies doing tonight? Special occasion or just a girl's night out?" he asks.

	Donovan gives Irina the once-over. "So...you turned twenty-five and suddenly you're ready for social security?" he asks, joking with her a bit.
