Enter the Puppy Princesses

Moira Hrimharisdottir, in human form, wearing plain brown clothes and a leather coat, crouched beside her sister near the lake at Xavier's. Granny -- that being Lady Doctor Moira Ann Kinross Mactaggart, Midgard's Greatest Physician as she'd proudly told the children of Asgard a thousand times -- was inside talking to the Professor. She and Danielle had thought it best to let them discuss some things alone.

If Granny thought it would be best for them to stay here, she must suspect anything she could do for Danielle would take a while, Moira knew. No quick fix, even from Midgard's Greatest Physician.
Danielle nuzzled her a little, obviously nervous, and Moira silently scritched her behind the ears.

	There's a look of surprise on both the girl's and the wolf's faces. Danielle sniffs at his hand and returns the greeting. "Moira Hrimharisdottir. This is Danielle. We may be staying some time." He speeds up a little when they don't show any problems keeping up. They look the outdoor types, unsurprisingly, after all. Its not long before they reach the woods, where he heads right into the thick of it. "Some of the kids put up a tree house over there. And there's a couple trails over that way some of the 'I love nature as long as its along a trail' types use. There's a few berry bushes this way, past that point, not many people venture much further."

Lucas heads off the paths and deeper into the brush. "[If you're very quiet, there's a number of dens out this way. No hunting, but its fun to come and watch in the mornings if you're very still. The wind usually comes from that way when its fairly still, so if you're coming in this way before dawn, and sit quietly, a lot of birds come to this spot. the dirt is soft, lots of bugs and worms. About another twenty yards, and there's a racoon path.]"

Cait had been on the far side of Breakstone Lake practicing using her powers to move large amounts of water. That usually meant moving over a large area. Her stomach had started demanding food and perhaps it was time to go in and grab a bite to eat.

Cait closed her eyes and reached out with her powers. Water lifted up from the surface and Cait was now standing on the top of a motionless wave of water. She smiled and sent the wave moving toward the Xavier side of the lake.

Moments later she reached the shore and the wave steadily dissipated as she drew closer to the shore. She stepped onto firm ground and noticed two someones there. A new student and their pet...was that a real wolf?

"Hi," she said with a smile.
