Night Driving- Thomas
Chasing down a lead on a drug ring had brought Sam to Gotham where he had run into Thomas again. After busting up the ring there the ringleader had already left and was headed Hub City. At least that's what they guy thy had scared into telling him had said. So they headed out to try and catch him.

Sam let Thomas do the driving since he still hadn't learned to drive himself. After several hours of late night driving they were both starting to feel pretty tired.

	How he wished they could use the Batmobile. But it wasn't discrete for long distances and two, he didn't know Sam all that well. You didn't let just anyone into the Batmobile. He hadn't slept at all the previous night because of this drug ring lead and now monotonous late night driving? Even the most nocturnal bat would have problems. "This car is so slow..." 	Sam definitely preferred flying to driving. He hadn't slept a wink on the red eye he had taken to Gotham. Right now he wanted nothing more than to go to sleep but he couldn't right now. "Yeah," Sam says, "And we still have a few hundred more miles left to go." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"What's sadder is that I've been gunning it for most of the way..." Which meant it was already somewhat of a surprise they hadn't been pulled over. But he wasn't such an amateur to let that happen.

"I guess you're not a Queen but might as well ask: Do you guys still have that Arrowmobile thing around?" Knockoff of the much superior Batmobile in his opinion but hey, had to ask.

"If it weren't so late I'd say maybe we should try and get another faster car." Sam had been wondering why they hadn't been pulled over either but had guess it was just too late for even the cops to want to do stuff.

"Well I am a boy so it would be kind of hard to be a Queen," Sam says. "Yeah though I don't think it runs any more." That arrow stuff always made him laugh just like the boxing glove arrow.

"I'd agree but it's almost sunrise. Nothing's open." A point he'd clearly thought about. He might kill the engine at this rate anyway.

"Don't know, we could crown you and say you had the attitude of one. But you're not getting tea from me," he smirked. "Really? Too bad, I'd rather be using that instead of this piece of junk. It's more practical than those handcuff arrows you guys have kicking around."

	"Well it's something to keep in mind for later," Sam says. "I'd just rather be a King," Sam says. "I would rather not be seen in that thing. Part of why I don't really use the trick arrows. 	"Understandable. I can kind of see the boxing glove arrow working, but the handcuff one baffles me. How is it supposed to handcuff someone anyway?" 	"Well the gas and ice arrows are good in a pinch as are those foam and glue ones I've seen." Thomas smiles to himself at the second part. "Only people who don't know him say that." He had to admit, the way some of them scurried away when they saw you coming was rather satisfying. Good, they should fear bats.

Although he's sure that they were responsible for the marked increase in bat phobias over the years.
