Message from Mother (Open to X-ers)
Ororo Munroe had not forgotten about the X-Men while in Wakanda.  It was true that she had no visited them in a long time, and that she could not visit them now.  However, her daughter was more than capable.  Akilah arrived at the mansion with a tote bag and a sealed envelope.  She waited at the front gate after making it known she had arrived, however unexpected it was.

"I got it!" Ellie said teleporting from down the hallway to the front door.

"Hi!" She said, beaming at the girl on the other side, "Can I help you?"

Akilah looked down at the girl and have her a blank, bored look. "I am Akilah Munroe, and I am here on behalf of my mother. The X-Men know her as Storm, or 'Aunto 'Ro'."

"I think you mean Auntie Ro," Ellie said.

Wait...Auntie Ro was a Queen, which meant that this girl was...

"You're a PRINCESS?!" Ellie squealed. She was meeting a real live PRINCESS. "I'm Ellie Rasputin! It's so nice to meet you Akiliah, I mean Your Highness. Please, come in!" She grabbed the girl's hand, nearly dragging her inside.

Ellie turned to Chris. "This is Akilah Munroe, she's a princess, Chris! A PRINCESS."

Akilah was not led in before grabbing the tote bag, and then reclaiming her hand after coming inside. She did not handle children well. "Do not do that again," she ordered. Then she looked at Chris, and then at Ellie. She looked out of the corners of her eyes and mentally noted to speak with her mother about this... incident.

Chris pats Ellie on the shoulder, noting how Akilah took her hand back. Plenty of people don't like to be touched, but there was something about this girl that made the fangs itch to pop out.

"Yeah, 'Ro's daughter. I've heard of her." She nods to Ellie.

"Well princess, what can we do for you?" She gives her the courtesy of the title for now, but doesn't do more than give a polite nod in greeting, so far as formality goes.

"My mother has sent me here on her behalf. She is too busy to travel outside of Wakanda." Akilah holds the tote bag up higher. "She has gifts for a few of your X-Men, and a message for Mr. Summers."

Chris reaches for the bag, if it's being offered. "We'll have to write her a thank-you letter."

Her expression flattens. Summers still isn't on her favorite people list. "I'm sure he's around somewhere..."

"It is... fine, young one." She strained to give Ellie a sympathetic look, but 'sympathetic' just didn't didn't properly compute with Akilah.

She made up for it by pulling the tote bag away from Chris. "I would prefer hand delivery. That way I can be sure all of the gifts reach their rightful recipients." Not that she was saying Chris looked like a thief or anything, really. But Akilah did not trust people she had no recollection of meeting.

"I do not need to see Mr. Summers at this moment. I am content with delivering the rest of the gifts. What are your full names?" She wanted this task done.

Chris smirks at Ellie. "True story. No penguins."

She looks back to Akilah. "If you're here, make yourself at home. Ororo's family is our family." Out of habit, Chris is already taking measurements with her eyes. She can hit the internet for recent photos of the queen, so she can hopefully send something back as a thank you.

"...I see." What else could she say to that? "I am not particularly hungry at the moment," she replied. "But I do wish to sit down." Akilah guided herself to the nearest seat and took it. She opened the tote bag and fished out a small gift box with Ellie's name on it. By the shape and size of the box, Akilah was well aware of what the gift was.

"Mother is very generous with this gift, I see." It was a tiara. Not a remarkably designed one, but a tiara none-the-less. It had enough gems to make it look pretty and make Ellie feel like a princess. Akilah handed the box to Ellie. That was the first of many gifts.

Ellie took the box from Akilah. "Thank you," she said as she opened it.

And when she saw what her gift was...Ellie squealed. Loudly. "This is AWESOME! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!" She impulsively hugged Akilah. "Oh. Sorry." She pulled away quickly, blushing.

Chris whistles in appreciation. Her taste in jewelry doesn't tend to run so high class, but it's a very impressive piece. "Nice one Ellie. We'll come up with something nice to send Ororo as a thank-you."

She tries to look at Akilah nonchalantly. Like you would if you were expecting a tip but didn't want to ask for it directly.

Akilah wasn't sure how to respond to being hugged. She sort of... froze for a second. Then she returned to normal like nothing had happened. "It is... fine."

She looked at Chris then, and caught the kind look she was being given. Akilah raised half her brow and dug into the tote bag. She pulled out a small box with a gem-encrusted bracelet, similar in conservation to Ellie's tiara. "This is for you."

Chris grins and accepts it graciously. "Thank you."

She takes out the bracelet and examines it, turnign it over in her hands before slipping it on. She smiles in approval as she raises and lowers her arm, letting it slip back and forth a bit.

"It's beautiful." She pauses. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hug you."
