Who's Using Who?

"Yes, sir," Sean 'Weatherly' replied before being left at the doorstep of Nicolai Sablinova. Apparently, it was now his job to make things right with the guy for failing to spy on him effectively. At least, that was what he was told. There was, of course, an undertone of 'we expect to hear things about the team from you'. Sean just wondered how it was possible that Nicolai and his hired help even agreed to this.

Whatever, though. Nothing to dwell on. It wasn't his job to think about why he was sent to do things. He just had to do them. With that in mind, he knocked on the door.

	Nicolai thought this was too funny. He knew about the subtext about how he was probably going to be reporting back on him but he had ways around that. Sean was going to start off very low with not real security clearance if he was really mean he might put Kelly in charge of him. (Reply to this)(Thread)

"Basically, the United States government wants to apologize. So they're offering my services to you, in exchange for you staying quiet about what happened. As for my services? I'm trained in stealth, handling information, handling weapons, and death."

And yes, the funny suit he was wearing was part of the job description. It was either that, or death via telepath.

Kelly blinks. Then blinks again, tilting her head and looking at the guy quizzically.

"Wait...YOU'RE a fucking apology? Man, either the U.S. has gotten even more ham handed with their apologies than I remember, or they're actually still pissed and really want to piss in our cheeri-O's. Do you also do mime? Showtunes? Anything else come with this singing telegram?"

Yeah, she's having fun with this already. Rule #1, never let Kelly know she can get under your skin.

Sean sighed at Kelly. He figured he might as well get this out of the way, if they were going to be working together.

"Look. I might as well let you all in on the big secret here. I can't be touched by anything physical. It's why I wear this suit, which was made to let me walk around without sucking up chunks of the ground everywhere I go. Shoot me all you want. I don't really care. It's just a waste of bullets."

He gave her a distinctive glare, then turned his head to Beatrice. She wasn't getting on his nerves at all, thankfully. Still, he couldn't see how he was going to get along with any of them.

"Sounds good to me."
