"Reports are still uncomfirmed about the latest rash of break-ins and property damage, all at area grocers and food warehouses, and while police are withholding details about the situation, the online community is abuzz. Photos of what appear to be claw marks and brute force damage to doors and windows appear at a majority of the crime scenes. Anonymous reports from employees also indicate that large amounts of the stolen food were consumed at the individual scenes. Public response has been mixed, but the most vocal responses at this time have come from spokespeople for the Church of Purity. These acts are attributed to mutant activities and there is a renewed call for mutant registration and responsiblity from the Church. Locals in the areas of the break-ins are advised, as always, not to travel alone after dark."
