Moscow, Russia - Tsar Mikhail and the rest of the royal family celebrated the birth of tsarevich Nicolai Mikhailovich early this morning. The announcement of the birth came an hour after the new prince was born allowing time for naming. The Tasarina was taken to European Medical Center around midnight and gave birth at 6:22am local time.

Grand Duchess Natasha and her family were on hand for the birth. They arrived a day ago after being notified that the Tsarina was in labor. The Grand Duchess had her own young son with her, Edward Nicholas Stark, who is now currently fifth in line for the throne.

A public appearance of the new prince has not be announce, but photos will soon be released. CONT PAGE 2A

Rome, Italy – The Vatican is addressing the recent rash of robberies at a few churches and monasteries throughout the world. Two churches and two monasteries were broken into during the night and ransacked. Many valuable religious artifacts were destroyed and some are reported missing. The Vatican is not saying what artifacts were stolen, but it will only confirm that some objects are missing. Authorities are investigating, but so far there are no leads. CONT PAGE 2A


Almeda, TX – Miracles continue to happen in the small town of Almeda, Texas. People are being miraculously healed by Maria Sefanos. No matter the injury or sickness, it seems like Ms.Stefanos is able to heal or cure them. She has decline every interview request, but there is word that she is able to do this miraculously healing by the power of the goddess. People will not say which goddess it is, but people have started to convert to the worship of this unnamed goddess. A small cult is forming and local officials have not taken any actions. New York, NY – Hell's Kitchen is seeing a surge in it's goth population. Goths have flocked to this area of New York and appear to be forming some sort of cult. They gather each night in one of the small community parks and hold some sort of rites for the 'Dark Goddess' as they call her. They will not name this Dark Goddess, but the air has a cult like feel to it. Authorities have yet to take action. CONT PAGE 4A


Los Angeles, CA – It seems like people have found the Fountain of Youth in Los Angeles outside of plastic surgery. A new treatment at a new clinic has rejuvenated the stars. This new treatment is provided by New Beginnings Clinic. A trip to the clinic has the customers coming out with ten to twenty years off of their appearances. Details on the procedure are unknown and so far the owner, Ms. Abigail Pederson, has been unavailable for comment.



San Fran, CA – The new drug Nirvana is becoming more and more popular in the streets of San Francisco. The people using the drug have claimed to have seen “the Goddess” and have started worshiping her. The name of this goddess is unknown and these so called worshipers will not release the name. Police are trying to stop the spread of this drug, but so far their efforts have been unsuccessful.

DAILY BUGLE - Crime rates near the so-called "District X" continue to climb in recent weeks, as what are being reported as mutant street gangs ransacked thirteen stores in the past three weeks, with half a dozen home invasions as well. Property damage estimates are estimated to be in the tens of thousands and still rising, and insurance carriers for the claimants are currently entering litigation as to whether or not mutant violence constitute valid claims under criminal sections of their coverage.

THE BUZZ - (editorial by Khan Keorattanavong) Police Captain Erica Strauss commended her precinct's officers today, in a grandstanding public ceremony where the collective members of the 11th Precinct by all rights should have snapped in half from how fast they bent over to kiss their own collective rears. Arrests for possession are at an all-time high as Strauss continues her war on drugs, specifically MGH, Mutant Growth Hormone. Arrests are at an all-time high, with a soaring conviction rate on possession charges as well. Sources also claim that pleas from defense attorneys for what would normally be minor charges have been ignored by the DA's office.

We've all seen what MGH can do, but voices within the local community cite that the arrests have been focused on users carrying empathic and telepathically communal strains, rather than your typical lasers and super strength varieties. Cops beating up on hippies, where have we seen that before?

There's a new band that's up and coming on the New York club scene. Starry Twilight is breaking into the club scene here in New York after getting their start in Hoboken, NJ. The new teen band is making a hit with people all over the city.

Not only are fans coming to hear their music, but who could resist Joey Starlight's big pouty lips and mysterious dark eyes? Or how about Wendell Moon's charming smile and great sense of humor? Let's not forget AJ Eclipse's magical hands on the keyboard and Davey Nova's rebel attitude?

Spider-Man on a Rampage! - Just when you thought it was safe to walk the streets of New York again, the menace known as Spider-Man has reared his web-covered head. Recent months has seen an surge of gang violence gripping New York, beginning with the shooting death of a 15 year-old student from Midtown High. Since then, the so-called "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" has attacked any groups with gang-affiliations. Members of street gangs such as the Poison Memories, the Midtown Saints and the Grim Bastards Motorcycle Club have been admitted to hospitals with alarming frequency. ..(CONTINUED ON PAGE 2A)


Local Media Mogul Seeks Support For Relief Efforts- Julian Howard, known as the manager behind the mutant reality sensation, X-Factor, has met in recent weeks with a slew of politicians and attended Congressional hearings in Washington D.C. seeking ways to bring more federal aid to the embattled citizens of Fargo, Georgia.

"We are just a few months removed from this tragedy, but we cannot forget its impact or that there are real people still suffering." Howard says.

Mr. Howard has been outspoken in his desire to bridge the divide between humanity and mutantkind in the wake of the tragedy that took the lives of over 3,000 people. A three-day benefit concert is close to being announced and is rumored to have the names of several prominent mainstream and independent artists on the marquee. (CONTINUED ON PAGE 10A)


USA v. Mutants? - A robbery enacted by a group of mutant criminals two weeks ago was thwarted by a new task force created by the Department of Homeland Security. A unit of the Mutant Response Division, led by Command Master Chief Windham Carter, apprehended the crew of mutant thieves after an hour long stand-off. Eyewitness reports also state that another group of mutants came to the aid of the MRD, but this cannot be confirmed. Colonel Audra Wesker, head of the Division, expressed relief and gratitude that there were no serious injuries or deaths. (CONTINUED ON PAGE 3B)

ENGLAND Braddock Manor, home of Brian Braddock, was destroyed during the night. All that's left of the stately manor house is a smoldering pile of rubble. The individuals responsible for this attack are unknown at this time, but police are investigating. No bodies were found in rubble and it appears that Brian Braddock is missing at this time. BRAZIL In an unusual turn of events, it appears the Amazong Rainforest has somehow come alive and the trees and plants are attacking loggers. To date about twenty loggers and other citizens have gone missing into the jungle depths. Witnesses say that they were grabbed and abducted by the trees. Investigators are looking into the situation, but at this point they have no leads. CONT PAGE 2A

WASHINGTON DC The Registration debate has cooled down and the bill that Senator Sloane was trying to push through Congress has been officially dropped. Recent events in New York City have brought to light certain individuals sponsoring the bill and Congress is doing an investigation into these individuals. The issue of mutant and superhero Registration has been shelved, but it is certainly not the end of the debate. CONT PAGE 1B

New York, New York The cleanup from the powerful storm that raged through the city continues. The storm occurred during the fight at Liberty Island. The group calling themselves the MLF took a few prominent sentors' kids hostage in an effort to get the Registration Act killed in Congress. The X-Men and Avengers eventually showed up to rescue the kids, but it was group calling themselves X-Factor who eventually rescued the kidnapped children. CONT PAGE 1-B

Los Angeles, California Los Angeles saw a zombie invasion of dead actors and actresses. The Defenders, down a few of their numbers, showed up to deal with the zombie invasion. Among the Defenders was no other than Captain Britain. The team stopped the zombies and LA returned to its normal chaos. CONT PAGE 1-C

New York, New York – There has been another shake in the business world as Stark Inc released news of another CEO change It is the second one in less than a year, but the company continues to do well in these tough financial times despite the changes in leadership. It was announced at a press conference that Stark Inc is one again being run by Anthony Stark. Margaret Donovan Stark, Tony’s half-sister, ran the company as CEO since June of 2009. It is unknown what Ms. Donovan Stark will be doing in the company after the change of leadership. CONT PAGE 2A

New York, New York – Mayor Bloomberg announced today that the city will be opening one new shelter for the homeless in each of the five boroughs of the city. The mayor urges the homeless to seek out these new shelters during these cold winter days and nights. CONT PAGE 2A


New York, New York Anti-mutant protests continue throughout the city and the country as Senator Sloane continues to press for mutant and superhero registration in Congress. While the protests have remained peaceful for the most part, there have been a few instances of violence at some of these protests.


New York, New York Chaos ensued when the two lions, Patience and Fortitude, outside the New York Public Library came to life and started moving through the streets of the city. The city's resident heroes showed up and stopped the two giant stone lions. In addition to the animated statues, in the Central Park Zoo the animals were released from their cages and the visitors to the zoo were put in the animal enclosures. It is unclear whether these two events are related and the perpetrator is unknown at this time. CONT PAGE 3B

"Reports are still uncomfirmed about the latest rash of break-ins and property damage, all at area grocers and food warehouses, and while police are withholding details about the situation, the online community is abuzz. Photos of what appear to be claw marks and brute force damage to doors and windows appear at a majority of the crime scenes. Anonymous reports from employees also indicate that large amounts of the stolen food were consumed at the individual scenes. Public response has been mixed, but the most vocal responses at this time have come from spokespeople for the Church of Purity. These acts are attributed to mutant activities and there is a renewed call for mutant registration and responsiblity from the Church. Los Angeles, California - Does LA have a new resident god? A man showed up in LA calling himself the son of Hercules and had saved some citizens from a bus whose brakes had failed. Could this man be the son of the Avenger and one time LA Champion Hercules? Will he be teaming up with LA’s own team of gods, the Defenders? There has been no official word from the Defenders, but don’t be surprised to see the Olympian battling alongside the Defenders soon. Will the arrival of this god spark more interest in the pagan gods and their religion like the arrival of the Defenders has? Time will tell. CONT on PAGE 2C

Washington D.C. – Senator Sloane (R – New York) is trying to initiate talks about mutant registration in Congress. So far there has been opposition to the discussion on both sides of the aisle, but some senators are starting to lend their voices to Sloane’s idea. CONT on PAGE 2A

New York, New York – Billionaire Tony Stark is believed to have been released from the hospital and is now in residence in his posh Manhattan penthouse. There has been no word or comment from Mr. Stark and all efforts to reach him have failed. Mr. Stark was injured in an explosion…. CONT on PAGE 4B

New York, New York - In a press conference today Margaret Donovan-Stark announced that Stark Inc has new contracts to develop and provide the United States military with the latest generation of weapons. New York, New York – Reverend Phillip Butler announced today that he will be holding a special memorial service for the victims of the recent bombings of homeless shelters in the city. Reverend Butler has invited all to attend this special memorial service. The service is to take place at the Bowery Mission, the site of the latest bombing. CONT on PAGE 3A

New York, New York - The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced today that they have made a deal with the Russian Imperial family to host the Imperial Russian collection while the Kremlin undergoes renovation. There will be an invite only fundraiser on the opening night of the collection and in attendance will be the Russian royal family. Los Angeles, California – Demons and the undead were out in full force as they converged on an estate outside of Los Angeles. It appears that they attacked the headquarters of the Defenders. The Defenders held off the attack and eventually defeated the horde of undead soldiers and demons. CONT on PAGE 2D

New York, New York – Police are still investigating the cause of the explosion at the Bowery Mission. No leads have turned up yet, but police are hopeful they will find the perpetrator of this act. Memorial services for the victims of the bombing will be held on Sept 12 at 12pm. CONT on PAGE 3A

Washington D.C. – Senator Sloane has returned to the United States after his trip to Germany on behalf of the President. Relations between the two countries had been strained, but Washington is hoping they will improve after the senator’s trip. Moscow, Russia - It seems like a certain woman has caught the eye of the new Tsar. Tsar Mikhail has been seen at a few formal occasions accompanied by Miss Tatyana Sergeyeva. New York, New York – There is still no word on billionaire Tony Stark’s condition. Rumors abound about the industrialist, some even reporting that he died shortly after the explosion. There has been no official word on his status from the Stark family or from Stark Inc. Margaret Donovan-Stark, Tony’s half sister, is currently at the helm of Stark Inc and reports coming out of the company suggest that Stark Inc is once again a major provider of weaponry and equipment to the American military. New York, New York – Police are investigating the disappearances of a number of teenagers across the city. There doesn’t seem to be a connection to the disappearances, but police are not ruling one out. The teens all appear to be mutants and rumors have abound that this is connected to the sudden rash of anti-mutant displays across the city and across the country. Judging by the glittery rock on her finger and the the uncharacteristic grin on his face, Miss Cassandra Eleanor "Stature" Lang and Dr. Kristoff "Please, No Nicknames" Vernard are finally engaged! The senior member of Fantastic Four Mark Two and the former Avenger turned teammate have been an item for years and may or may not have a son together, but this is the first indication of their finally making it official.

Since they seem too busy for a proper announcement in the Lifestyles section, we'll do it for them. The bride-to-be is a born New Yorker, the daughter of second Ant-Man Scott Lang and Mrs. Margaret Rae Nelson Burdick. The groom-to-be is the son of the late Mirela Vernard of Doomstadt, Latveria. No word yet on the date or location of the wedding, but come on, people. They're superheroes. If nothing else, we'll know where it happened from the adjacent broken streets.

The Bowery Mission on Bowery and Delancey was a mutant friendly shelter near Little Italy. It housed men, women and children from all walks of life including mutants. Evening was coming to the city and a few homeless people were starting to filter in. The shelters in the city saw less occupancy during the summer, but there was enough this evening that most of the beds would be full.

The explosion came without warning and the place was engulfed in flames in seconds.
