Los Angeles, California - Does LA have a new resident god? A man showed up in LA calling himself the son of Hercules and had saved some citizens from a bus whose brakes had failed. Could this man be the son of the Avenger and one time LA Champion Hercules? Will he be teaming up with LA’s own team of gods, the Defenders? There has been no official word from the Defenders, but don’t be surprised to see the Olympian battling alongside the Defenders soon. Will the arrival of this god spark more interest in the pagan gods and their religion like the arrival of the Defenders has? Time will tell. CONT on PAGE 2C

New York, New York – Billionaire Tony Stark is believed to have been released from the hospital and is now in residence in his posh Manhattan penthouse. New York, New York - In a press conference today Margaret Donovan-Stark announced that Stark Inc has new contracts to develop and provide the United States military with the latest generation of weapons. Stark Inc. had stopped weapons production years ago when Tony Stark, then CEO, had decided to take the company in a new direction. CONT on PAGE 2A

New York, New York – Reverend Phillip Butler announced today that he will be holding a special memorial service for the victims of the recent bombings of homeless shelters in the city. Reverend Butler has invited all to attend this special memorial service. The service is to take place at the Bowery Mission, the site of the latest bombing. CONT on PAGE 3A

Anya blinked a few times when she read the bit about cousin Mikhail. That sly old dog. She found it strange that they were finding out about it in the paper and not from Mikhail himself.

Giovanna frowned at the foreign newspapers, reading up on the registration debate. She reflected on the fact that the man behind it probably had more mutant constituents than any of the others, but that was hardly surprising. She certainly didn't tend to subscribe to the theory that humans would automatically be more reasonable if they only knew them better.

Andrew pours over the papers, focusing on the announcements regarding the registration act and the Stark announcement. It somehow doesn't surprise him that the latter is getting more international coverage than the former.

"Change in management, its to be expected. Weapons manufacture is profitable, and Tony Stark isn't making the decisions now. Of note, it looks like Stark is lining up to make more political contributions too. This bears watching."

"It depends, Congress is currently very divided, which doesn't give them a position of strength to work from. They can't try and shout down the UN when they can't make their own bed. If there's a big enough disaster to put a face on a threat, then they'll definitely be waving their new toys around."

He looks through the articles a bit more, then tosses the paper aside. "Right now, I'm very curious what Maggie Donovan has in mind for Stark Industries. I wouldn't have thought that she'd been in control long enough to feel secure that the shareholders would back her unless she'd been working on this for a while. An announcement like this is definitely a bold move."
