Although she was never much of an artist when it came to sketching or drawing anything, when it came to splashing a few strokes of paint onto a canvas, Brody wasn't quite as bad. Sometimes it was fun to just hang around the art room, and she did so quite often, when she wasn't hovering around the drama club on her off days. On this afternoon, Brody was heading up to art, decided on spending a little while painting something out. Even if the strokes weren't perfect, they helped her relax. It was one of the few artistic things that she did that didn't stress her out at some point. With things like music and acting, there was always competition. Painting wasn't really a competitive wager for most people. Pushing open the door to the art room, Brody peered inside briefly, before checking her watch. Was it really that late? And the room was this empty? She had even almost missed Mari at first. Other than her, it was empty. Something had to be up. Stepping inside, already hearing Mari's music blasting away, she glanced over at the other girl. The serious look was indeed very un-Mari, and Brody set out to change it, grabbing up an elastic from one of the tables full of supplies. Stretching it between her thumb and finger, she flicked it over in Mari's direction, aiming for pretty much anything below the neck. Taking her eye out probably wouldn't go over as well. "Bitch, pay attention to me!" she joked, unsure if Mari would even hear her.
