Because I am not clever enough to come up with new ones
Pick one of my characters and a date in the future (from the time of the RP) and I'll give you facts or a ficlet (100-200ish words) about that character.

"Pop!"

Finn looked over his shoulder and grinned as Cormac came through the front door. It had been 'totally uncool' for his parents to pick him up at King's Cross after fourth year (even though Uncle Tibs was always at the station anyway and made sure his nephew got to the flooing port even if Cormac didn't know he was being watched), so the entire day had been awaiting the arrival of the boy. His last trip home from Hogwarts was a big one, and Finn knew he'd probably go out with some friends afterwards.

"How's the grad?" he asked as Cormac dropped into a chair beside the couch. Finn leaned forward and grinned; he was definitely prouder of his son than he was letting show, and wanted to hear the details.

"Well, I've got a date with Katie Bell this weekend, which is what I know you really want to know." Cormac's eyebrows were high and waggling, and Finn let out a holler of a laugh.

"You're shittin' me, wait till your mother---"

"PHINEAS CYAN MCLAGGEN HOW COULDYOUNOTTELLMEHEWASHOMECORMACCOMEHEEEEEEEERE!"

Finn toppled over in laughter as Cormac was strangled by the bear hug Joy had thrown around his neck, wondering if he should have warned his son that his mum had been running around the house like a madwoman because of his impending arrival.

Nahhhh.

Dimitri pulled at his bottom lip, staring out of the window of Dean's nursery. The boy was tugging happily at his chain, and usually Dimitri gently swatted him away before he snapped it, but his thoughts were too jumbled to pay attention. The snow was bright against the black night, and he wondered if it would stick for the morning. That would be good, Dean's first Christmas a white one.

Have something good about it, anyway. It was as if he couldn't catch a break; the war was in full blast, it seemed like the death eaters and criminals of the world thought that they were free to roam the streets and cause havoc. Dimitri didn't know how long he would be able to deal with the stress of work, especially because a security guard, even the 'head go-to man' as he called himself, didn't suffer half this much.

And the owls didn't help. Dimitri had been used to threats, he was a bloody hitwizard, he dealt with threats every day, but what made these letters different was that they weren't threatening, they were inviting. They hadn't officially stated what they wanted, but Dimitri knew it could only be one thing; he would rather die than become a death eater.

There was a sharp tug and a snap--Dean had pulled his chain straight off Dimitri's neck.

"Man..." Dimitri lightly groaned, shifting Dean so he could pull out his wand. He knew it wasn't fair, that Dean had seen more magic than Gabrielle ever would, but Dimitri couldn't hide it from his son. The necklace repaired itself, and Dimitri made to put it on, but Dean snatched for it again. He watched the boy slip the gold material through his fingers and smiled. With another small charm the necklace curled into itself and shrunk, to just the right size to fit around Dean's wrist.

"Here," Dimitri said, slipping it onto the boy. Dean gazed at his wrist for a moment, seemingly entranced, and then let out a shrill laugh and shook his wrist frantically. "Faaaancy, Dean, fancy."

Well, at least he had Christmas off. He didn't have to worry until after that.

"How many days?"

Eliza pulled back from the daffodils and sat back on her knees to stare at Eric. He was sitting above and in front of her on the porch of their house, legs dangling between the barrier. Eliza was sure if he pushed his face any harder in between the posts his head was going to go through, but she had warned him before.

"Until?"

"Myyyyy birtday."

She smiled and wiped her brow, shading her eyes to look at the sun.

"What time is it?"

"Twelve thurtee,"

"Hmm..." Eliza pulled off her hat and feigned intense concentration (even though she actually was trying to estimate the days until Eric's September birthday). "What season is it, again?"

"Mummy," Eric said with a sigh, "It is spwing."

"Right, so...you have...two seasons to go. When the leaves fall."

"Two seasons?"

"Two seasons."

Eric frowned and pulled his legs up from the post and stomped across the porch. Eliza made to go back to the flowers but watched her son out of the corner of his eye as he disappeared into the house. He returned about ten minutes later and was wearing a jumper, scarf, hat, and gloves, dragging a rake (where had he found a rake) and pounded down the stairs and sat at the very bottom with a stubborn expression on his face.

"Why are you dressed like that?" Eliza asked, clearly amused.

"I's waitin' for the leaves to fall."

"Cormac."

"Yes?"

"McLaggen."

"Mum." Katie's vibrant face fell and her shoulders slumped greatly. She could not believe that her mother was reacting this way! They were supposed to be hollering and shrieking and jumping around! She was engaged! To Cormac! "What's wrong! I thought you liked Cormac?"

"I do," Liz said quickly, nodding as her eyes frantically searched around the room, not able to settle on one thing. "I do like Cormac. Not as my son-in-law, but I like Cormac just fine--"

"Mum!" Katie exclaimed, standing, "I can't believe this!"

"You're too young!" she blurted, and Katie pointed a stiff finger.

"You and dad got married even younger! He waited until my twentith birthday! It was so cute last night, Mum, you've got to---"

"Not the same!" Liz shrieked, but by now Katie could tell it was just a panicked tone, and that her mother was not actually mad or upset, "It is not the same! Not the same!"

"Oh," Katie's arms crossed and she shifted her weight to one hip, "so you would've been all right with it if I was up the duff a month out of Hogwarts?"

Liz's mouth dropped and she suddenly felt like a fish out of water. Her hands went up to scold her daughter, but they dropped listlessly by her side. Damn it. She had a point. Katie and Cormac had been dating for three years, too. And had known each other all their lives. And had fathers that would literally kill Cormac if he did anything wrong to Katie (oh, yes, Cormac had gotten his fair shares of smacks to the back of the head from Finn). So. Really. Nothing. Wrong.

Damn it. Her daughter was getting married. To Cormac. McLaggen.

"Oh my God," Liz let out, tears bursting out of her eyes as she literally launched herself at Katie, arms going around her daughter and knocking her down in the couch.
