Killing the Clowns
The past week in Gotham had been an interesting one. Bodies of Jokerz had been turning dead up in various parts of the city. Each killed in a different way and each of them had a smile on their face when they died.

This was definitely worth looking into for Nick. A series of murders that were without a doubt connected in Gotham would make for a good story. Though with all the victims being Jokerz it was hard to predict who might be behind this right now.

Nick definitely was going to check out the last crime scene to see if he could find anything that the cops might have missed.

Huntress didn't lose any sleep over dead clown-wannabees, but was concerned about murder in general. She was doing extra long patrols, but they didn't provide any answers or clues.

Evan decided to do some legwork and see if he could find any hint as to what this massacre was all about while Ezra dug things up at home. It wasn't the Joker, that much Evan was certain of. While it seemed crazy to assign an MO to the Joker, but the man was a consistent media-whore. No way he'd keep his involvement quiet.

He's heard..something. Which from experience made him think it was Robin, but the voice was definitely not Robin.

Evan did his best not to seem too spooked. "Huntress," he greeted politely. "Yeah, but haven't got much at the moment."

"I doubt it," Huntress said. "If it were someone with a grudge, we'd be finding more bodies. There'd be more dead Jokerz." Huntress shrugged. "Whomever it is, they have a twisted sense of humor." Then again they were dealing with Jokerz.

The scene itself wasn't that far away. The murder itself was still fairly recent so there were still a lingering police presence.

"So how friendly are you with the boys in blue?"

Huntress smiled and then dropped down right between the two cops guarding the scene. "Hello boys." She wrapped an arm around each and turned them away from the crime scene.

Crazy guy on a murderous rampage killing Jokerz, like he needed another reason to stay away from Gotham. Still at least they were picking good people to kill.

Dinah did not, unless it was an extreme situation, do much of her super-heroing within the boundaries of Gotham, preferring either New York or Frisco with the Titans. Not because she wasn't an extremely capable crime-fighter... but simply because she understood that, with Khaji-Da, it would be like starting a metahuman cold war of escalating violence, weapons, and powers.

But that didn't mean she couldn't correlating information and pass it on to those who could. Not for nothing was she her mother's daughter.

Jokerz dying with the original's M.O. all over the deaths. Great. Someone had a sick sense of humour it seemed.

Of course that meant after scoping the crime scenes extra patrols, more info gathering, and scouring the streets for any rumours that could lead him somewhere.
