Sean had been stuck with eyes on him at all times during his stay with Wild Pack. Honestly, the boss really knew how to pack on the punishment. Getting stuck playing prisoner/teammate for these guys was horrible. He had the urge to take off his suit sometimes and just bodyslam Kelly into the void. Of course, that would get him in trouble with more than just Wild Pack. So he had to deal with it.

And he dealt with it by grabbing a bite to eat. He was at least allowed enough access to get that.

He takes a handful of popcorn and tosses one piece into his mouth. He chewed and swallowed, and then he spoke.

"I see," he said. "You're a good ally to have. One thing that gets me, though, is that I can't tell what exactly it is you do."

He paused and ate another piece of popcorn.

"Kelly is clearly the tank of the team. The hooded girl, Melissa, uses magic. Nicolai appears to be able to put a person is stasis with a direct gaze, and he is quite clearly your boss. But you... I don't really know what it is you do. You're handy with a gun, sure. But what can you do that is so different from the others?"

"I'm not a telepath. I'm just very good at noticing things. And your bone structure denotes heavy Irish lineage. Maybe your family changed their name at some point because of anti-Irish prejudices, or maybe you're adopted and weren't informed, but you don't have a lot of English heritage in you."

There's more, whirring in the back of her mind, but it hasn't been fully realized yet.

He paused and shifted his head.

"No, it doesn't hurt." Physically. Mentally, though, was a different story. He had a more somber expression on his face now.

"It's just an inconvenience, for me and for others. But I've been living with it since I was born. I even absorbed the doctor that delivered me. The suit helps, at least."
