The very last thing that Lydia Proudfoot had expected to find on her doorstep was Tabitha. The woman had been dating her cousin the last that she'd heard and every time she went to visit the couple things had gotten very awkward.

"...can I help you?" Lydia stretched her arms lazily over her head. Yes, she did sleep in silk teddies -- and was Tabby staring at her? She leaned forward to check whether the woman's eyes were dilated, but no -- they were just rather red and puffy -- probably from crying. Tabitha started to say something and then broke into sniffles and something about it being impossible for her husband to ever understand what it was like to be a woman.

"Tabitha," she managed patiently, letting the woman collapse awkwardly against her while she dragged the door shut, "You need to use your words, darling." Once she'd gotten them to the couch, she smoothed her hand through Tabby's hair and blinked, her lips sliding into a coy smirk. She'd always thought that Tabitha was attractive, after all, and Amos had been extra-annoying lately...

"But you are right. Only women can understand other women," she murmured, bringing her hands up to Tabitha's shoulders to massage slowly (what better way to casually work a bra-strap down?). "What you need is to ... relax." Lydia licked her lips, brushing her mouth lazily over Tabitha's jaw and ignoring the weak protests she was getting in favor of sliding one hand around to Tabby's front.

"Lydia..."

Tonight was going to be much better than she'd first anticipated.

It was only logical that after Ophelia had quite literally run from their wedding that Grayson was frustrated with women. The fact that Fiona had even dared to send him an owl asking him if he wanted to talk ... well, Merlin knew it did nothing but infuriate him. Still, he'd planned on going to her flat in order to reject her to her face (sure, she wasn't Ophelia, but anyone that he could supplant his anger onto in a destructive way was welcome at the moment). That was the reason he'd apparated to just outside the building where her flat was housed in that muggle city block.

He straightened the collar of his robes and took the steps to Fiona's flat, knocking very firmly and then finding himself growing increasingly irritated when the door took several moments to be opened. Who wouldn't have triple locks living in a neighbourhood like this?

The fact was that the moment Fiona opened the door looking all ... sympathetic, Grayson's anger was replaced by something else entirely.

"Hi, Gray--" Fiona was cut off by Grayson surging forward to curve a strong hand at the base of her neck, pulling her close in order to kiss her harshly. He was sure that she was resisting for at least a few moments, but his grip was insistent and they always had been a good match when it came to a forceful snog.

She could regret it later, because he sure as hell wasn't about to stop now.

West Sumpter had not apparated into Fiona's kitchen shirtless to seduce her, no matter what her husband was currently accusing him of. He tossed one of the jerseys from his left hand at Tom and glared.

"Look, mate. I know that it's difficult for you to think that there are blokes who don't want to jump your wife's bones, but let's look at this logically. I'm standing here and holding two bloody jerseys -- do you know what that means? It means that I'm absolute rubbish at 'fashion' choices, and the whole damned team wants me to help them choose. Thus I am recruiting your wife." He crossed his arms over his (well-muscled) chest and arched his brow at Tom.

"Besides, if I were here to seduce anyone in this household it would have to be you. The other residents lack the necessary fucking parts." Literally the parts for fucking, you know.

Tom looked very red-faced and angry at that moment and West couldn't help but smirk.

"Look, mate. How do you even know if you don't like blokes? I bet you've never snogged one in your life."

The silence that he got from Tom was much more interesting than anything else he'd said so far, and West pushed off the counter he'd been leaning on until he was nearly nose-to-nose with Tom. He fisted a hand in the other man's hair and wasn't at all surprised when he had a matching one gripping his own -- he crushed his lips against Tom's and opted to just go with it for now.

He'd break the bad news to Fiona later.
