[long, long, yesterday when the sun was high up in the sky and Izuna was still alive, back when he was still young and more importantly, alive. did I say alive? because yeah, not dead.]

[comes back to their hotel room they have been staying at with a huge grin and the indiscriminate brown paper bag under his arm, the same hand sporting another bag that has a nice aroma coming from it. took a couple of guesses to get back here since they move around so much, going to previous hotels by mistake.] Aniki? [calls out and looks around. maybe he is out.] Aniki? [puts the bags down on the cheap wooden table the place supplied and first goes to the bathroom to look for him because let's face it, there is a bathroom, a main living area and a bed. not many places to look.]

[goes into them and cleans them out, at least one for them has enough to buy them a place to sleep for the night. the other just has a picture of his girlfriend. keep that for leverage.] This guy, I've seen him. He was one of the ones talking about robbing that guy. Maybe they knew it was me. I could have pissed them off. [tosses the evidence, stashing the rest in the bag.]

	Mm. [speeds up a bit, subtly reaching down to rub at his stomach, not showing his pain, though with the adrenaline gone it's starting to throb.] We can steal the towels, too. And the cups. 	Find a safe place and pull over. I'll get some clothes out for you. [needs those fancy moist things that you get at take away places. wait.] There is a strip club over there. [points to the upcoming sign.] We can use the bathrooms there. [didn't think he'd want to do this so soon and... it sucks because as soon as his shirt comes off, Izuna will know how hurt he really is. but agrees, pulling into the back of the parking lot, aiming for near the dumpster where nobody seems to be.] Let's not go in. Guys here are careless, there's probably a car unlocked around here. Get a towel and a water bottle, I'll clean up with that. [shifts to get out of the car, kicking the wires to shut it off.]

[gets out and goes up searching from car to car, looking for one that might have the stuff in there. people do carry some weird stuff in there. manages to track down two, one with water and the other with a old shirt which is good enough as a towel, one of them even left their door open! how stupid. steals that stuff easily, the other got an elbow into the corner and unlocked, grabbing the stuff and running a far distance away so no one will see him, uncapping the top, dabbing the corner of the shirt in the water, waiting for clean up.]

[eyes the car with the unlocked door, deciding that'll be their next target even though it looks more new so this might be a challenge... looks over at Izuna when he returns, surrendering to his fate and lifting his shirt off, revealing a poorly wrapped knife slice to his tummy. not deep enough for stitches but enough to sting like a bitch and bleed some. and some bruising, but nothing is broken!! be happy.]

[why didn't he tell him about this? they could have stopped early and cleaned him up because lets face it, their family wasn't in the position to be paying out for medical attention and medicine if it got infected.] We will need to clean that up when we get to the hotel. [be strong, show him you can do it. no spot clean was going to be needed this time, pouring more of the water over cleaning up the blood, ripping a strip off the shirt and tying it around his wound to slow the bleeding. puts more water on the rest of the shirt where its cleaner and gets his face, neatening up the best way possible to pass going into a hotel.]

[is just relieved Izuna didn't lecture him instantly, knows he'll probably hear it later but right now just getting somewhere safe is all that matters. and Izuna seems to recognize that. they've got time before infection sets in, they'll be okay. waits until he's done being cleaned up and gathers their bags from the car, slipping a new shirt on and changing his jeans, even spritzing some cologne on himself so he doesn't smell like sweaty man. gathers everything and hands some of the bags to Izuna, casually walking over to the car he marked earlier, unlocking it and stuffing the bags into the backseat, getting to work on crawling under the steering wheel.] ... Shrimp. When we get there. I want shrimp.

[gets in the other side and keeps a look out for rent-a-cops, people wanting their car back, good doing people passing by.] Grilled or with pasta or just cooked so they go that pinky color? Or salad... I think you can have them with salad. They should rip the heads off them before serving because I've seen them in seafood shop windows and they look... terrifying. [have you stared into the vacant eyes of a shrimp? scary.]

Maybe with pasta. Some of that creamy sauce. [takes in a sharp breath and recoil a little to a little shock but... just gets back to work, eventually getting it right.] I hate new cars. [mutters, shifting back up into the seat.] Alright... [looks at the meters.] We have about a half tank of gas... that should be enough. We'll go to the next city over. Should have a good two hours of driving.

	I'll be fine. [gives a reassuring smile, trying to run off momentum, but after about an hour of driving it gets to be a bit much, and pulls over to let Izuna take the lead. stays quiet and lets his thoughts wander, refocusing once they get off the interstate, looking around.] How much gas is left? [is on the lookout for a nice crowded looking one so they can casually blend in, eventually spotting one for the mall.] That one. [points, waiting for Izuna to change lanes and pull into it.] Park on one of the middle levels, since they're always full and it'll take longer for them to notice it hasn't moved in a few days. [looks around, seeing a huge sign on the side of a building for a well-known hotel.] A hotel is about two miles down. I can walk it.

	Don't move too fast. If you tear it, it will bleed more and it be harder to get past reception. [takes all the bags and carries them up the road, burning those puny muscles. needs to get some work out happening to get to aniki's standards.] I hope they have room service. I'll be careful. [takes some of those bags, taking the load off his brother. manages the walk easily enough, unable to disguise his limp once they get close.] Take just a few bills out to pay... a sack of cash is obviously suspicious. [prepares their IDs, waiting for Izuna before walking inside, going to the front desk and getting a room, of course displaying his IDs and turning to Izuna, waiting for him to put the cash up and then it's time for the magical key. apparently they were convincing enough, and gets to the elevator, finally collapsing on the side of it, using the guard rail to prop himself up. bites his lip and sits back, trying to appear strong again.]

Aniki! [rushes over to help but that wouldn't be what Madara wants so stops, turns to the front of the elevator and waits for the doors to open up, staying quiet. once it dings, he grabs the bags and steps out, looking up at the room numbers, pointing them in the direction of theirs. opens the room up and puts the bags down, quickly moving from room to room to make sure everything is safe in there because you can never be too cautious.] Looks okay. Lay down. I will see if they have anything in here to treat the wound. [first things first, mini bar to numb the pain, grabbing out all the bottles and putting them on the bed, next bathroom. might have to go to the chemist. doubt that stock butterfly bandaids in a swanky hotel.]
