Lucius sits up in his bed at Malfoy Manor, the sun streaming in through the window in the early morning. He hadn't been able to sleep last night, not with the anticipation of Narcissa's arrival today. He'd told her to Floo straight to his bedroom, so they wouldn't have to awkwardly speak to his parents. He'd prefer it if they could just spend time together. He'd never admit it, but ever since he'd left Hogwarts the previous year and she'd had to stay, he'd missed Narcissa, even if she was naggy and annoying and insufferable. For whatever reason, he loved her, and he hadn't seen her in at least a month, and that was just terrible. His job at the Ministry was really running him down, and he just wanted to see her for a little while.

He got up out of the bed and changed his clothing, getting ready for her arrival.

	"That's absolutely horrid," she said in disgust, making a face. "It sounds like some sort of butch girl. I won't be having any manly girls," Narcissa insisted. She rolled her eyes. 	She made a little noise of complaint at his pinch and retaliated by sighing, "Oh, Lucy." "He was very Hufflepuffy-turned-wannabe-Slytherin. It was too weird for me to handle. 	Lucius didn't mind her rambling. He really liked it, in fact, since he liked to hear her speak. It was comforting, which was something he didn't really want to think about all that much. "I used to give Cillian the benefit of the doubt because he really did seem like he belonged in Slytherin for a little while, but then he started acting all weird every once in a while and I didn't like it. So I stopped talking to him. But really, I think that's most of the students at Hogwarts. They're all sort of creepily involved in my life and want to do everything that I do." Narcissa just kept talking, looking down at his chest, occasionally pulling off a few pieces of lint before going right back to his hair. "You know what I mean?" she asked, suddenly realizing that she was doing all of the talking.

	She laughed slightly into the kiss, but that thought was soon forgotten as she kissed him back eagerly, leaning down the rest of the distance.
