spinning off from the discussion above, if a character's gender didn't matter to the storyline, would you be comfortable changing that? like if they were a generic best friend in a rom-com.

no, just because you'd have to change the character's name in most cases so it'd be really confusing for anyone browsing the credit journal

i'm just going to ask for someone's opinion because i'm working on a narrative and trying to figure something out. i've been ignoring the Abby Elliott's 2008-2009 season for ridyn because at first i didn't think it worked and it didn't really bother me much but NOW i'm figuring it would infact work and i'd like for her to have done it. especially because she had some really great stuff that year. the only thing it would affect would be like three friendships but they'd just be longer, not the point, the thing is steve martin hosted during that season and i've had ridyn say she only met him once but if i went that route, she'd have worked with him and there's no way she'd be as creepy with her obsession and i think i've somehow made it part of who she is, kind of. i don't know if i should continue ignoring it or not. i realize most of you don't care but someone help me maybe?

i think she could still be obsessed with him even if she had worked with him once? or it could be a half-joking obsession, like she's honestly a fan and really admires his work, finds him extremely attractive, but doesn't actually drive past his house (or something, i do not know the extend of her creepy stalking). plus i've always heard that steve martin is a really nice guy, so unless you wanted to go that route, i think that it wouldn't necessarily have to be one of those cases where you met your idol and they're like ... whatever. you know?

ok anons, here's to hoping i explain this the right way. i want to do an article/interview for my character, only it would be an old article written a couple years ago about a film they did back then. first of all, would anyone think it was weird? and i'd also probably disable comments as my character wouldn't be all look at me, look at me talking about something from ages ago! aren't i witty?

after watching a serial killer special on tv a few years ago, i don't open my door when people knock. if i know them, i know they'll be stopping over. anyway, some kids just knocked on my door and i know they probably won't kill me but i'm pretty sure i don't want to buy anything from them so i didn't open it. they're still knocking and they started knocking like 5 minutes ago. stop fucking knocking and go home
