it's pretty dead in here, but i'm redoing my char's directory and i'm not doing anything out of the ordinary with it, but it got me thinking anon, what are some html things a lot of people do that you really don't like?

for example, i really hate when people use a low line-height: tag for large blocks of text so the words are stacked right on top of each other.

being a southerner i've noticed that i spell a lot of words differently than my friends. pronunciation seems obvious since we say "ant" versus the elongated "aunt". however i tend to notice a lot when people in rp are playing southerners even though they themselves are not from there. it doesn't bother me so much as it's just an observation. like my facebook is full of people from all over the southeast region and it's always "momma and daddy" whereas my yankee friends type "mama".

sort of related to the comment about spelling in the south: i'm from the midwest but i type everything like i live in the uk. i'm sure it's heavily influenced by how much i immerse myself in british television shows, but i've gotten teased by my friends for how i spell things (i.e.: organised and favourite) and i always let it slip in my lab reports at school--lab reports only because i'm an engineering student and i don't write papers. i don't even know if i could play a character from the states anymore without really focusing.
