well, to be honest, i have two characters. one is 'popular' and people talk to them because i made the effort to branch out, but people didn't actually start to talk to this character without me initiating. my second character doesn't get a ton of interaction yet because i can't exactly branch out to myself. and the people who DO branch out to this character are the 'popular' ones. so i don't really see the 'popular' people as being the problem

total douchey american double standard here, but: i have no trouble imagining a non american pb with an american accent, but american pbs with british or other foreign accents are so hard for me to buy. ~coutes is one exception for me because leighton meester just has a very english look about her.
