Delilah + Henry

Hazel Charlotte | Slytherin | PB: Bridget Mendler

Henry had always known that Delilah was trouble. From the first day they met, he knew that if he wanted to keep his nose clean, to stay away from Delilah Spinnet. Did he listen to his usually correct conscience? Of course not, not when she rolled her skirt up those extra few inches. He couldn't. They dated on and off through their last few years of Hogwarts, finally deciding to call it quits after they both graduated and she decided to tour Europe as a professional dueler. Henry did not have the ego to deal with the worry of the other men she would be surrounded by, so he was fine with this decision. Relatively fine.

A few years passed and Delilah was a big name on the circuit that needed to keep her business in check. That's how Henry got back into the picture. She begged and pleaded that he become her agent, and once again he told himself that all she was going to do was cause him trouble. And, once again, he was right. There were no short skirts to blame, just a serious desire to make sure that Delilah did not royally screw up all the endorsements that were coming her way.

They became quite a business team, and it was after one night of celebrating a rather lucrative deal that caused old sparks to fly. Celebrating and too much wine. They shacked up in a conference room of the hotel she was staying at for a tournament (couldn't even make it up two flights) and were woken by the cleaning staff's broom handles poking into Henry's back. Utterly humiliated, Henry declared that they could no longer socialize if they were going to do business. Fine! was shouted at him quite loudly and often, but Delilah kept her distance for a few weeks, which Henry had been sadly surprised by. Her boycott of him ended with Delilah bursting into his office, looking ready to rip off his head, but instead got sick in his rubbish bin.

Henry figured it out rather quickly.

Hazel Charlotte Wadcock was born in the spring, just in time for quidditch, said Uncle Seth. The little girl managed to wrap all of the men in her life around her little fingers, from her father to uncles. She's loud like her mother, but her loudness usually covers up a clever plan that's being laid out right in front of your eyes. Hazel was sorted into Slytherin, much to her mother and uncles' despair. Henry was always quite aware that his daughter would follow in his footsteps, and she graduated with buckets full of NEWTs, going on to work in the Department of Magical Games and Sports, a right proper spot for this very competitive young lady.

Drew Dietrich | Ravenclaw | Lucas Till

The New Year's magic never seemed to fade away. Derek and Scarlett continued to have random run-ins (She swears. He swears, too), but after a few months life got distracting again. The quidditch season began and Derek took on more responsibilities in the hitwizard department. It wasn't until Vinny, being the very best friend that he was, forced Derek on a blind-date with a girl he met at some thing. That thing happened to be a quidditch match, and when Derek spotted Scarlett wearing that very red dress (good thinking, Vinny. Clever) he pretended that he was in fact not the blind-date she was waiting for. Merlin, did they tear apart that dumb sap that had left her all alone, only drinks could really make up for what a twit he was for standing her up.

She never worried about getting married. It had not been something she thought about or truly believed in, and it allowed their relationship to progress naturally without the regular pressures society liked to put on young, unmarried folk. Vinny and Gleny were quite bad at dropping subtle hints, but the pair neither denied or supported the idea. They were something nice and good, what more could you want?

Scarlett found out she was pregnant on Christmas morning, but waited until New Year's to tell Derek the news. Mostly out of nerves, partly because there was a tiny romantic in her. The surprise pregnancy caused a rift for a little bit of time, both terrified of what this meant, would they be able to handle it, should they, but in the end Drew arrived and was very loved by all.

He has a bit of a temper, which makes exam time in Ravenclaw Tower quite volatile. Scarlett had almost been sent to Ravenclaw, so she was pleased with her son's sorting, but Derek demanded a re-sorting. Did they do such a thing? They would now! But it became clear that his son's quick wit was quite directly drawn from Derek's own personality, so the sting of now carrying on the Hufflepuff lineage lessened slightly. Slightly. Drew graduated from Hogwarts and obtained many internship offers, but once again he surprised his father and joined the auror squad.

Bloody hell.

Iwan + Greta
[info]cristina_lacosa

Liesel Rosaleen Zelda Quigley | Gryffindor | Molly C. Quinn

Greta met Iwan in a broom closet. She’d been given a quidditch assignment she did not want, and he was hiding from an interview he did not want to do. Her rapid fire knocking on the door caused him to spontaneously apparate and he scared the daylights out of her, but once her heart rate lowered to a survivable beat, she found herself quite intrigued with this easily-panicked quidditch player. Not to mention his beard made his already beautiful face that much more attractive.

The interview went smoothly, but her curiosity could not be satisfied with just one meeting. On the fly, Greta made up a need to see him again, for this was going to be an on-going series following him throughout the season, etc. etc. Iwan appropriately blanched and disapparated into the women’s loo, but he did agree to the proposal. Greta was proud of her quick thinking; if anything, she’d have a great assignment for the next few months.

Her research on this very strange quidditch player took them to places off the pitch. Iwan slowly introduced her to his daily routines, some of which Greta found adorable, some a little weird. But who didn’t like a little weird? It became apparent after a few weeks that Iwan had begun to invite her to outings and things that she could not feasibly use in an article, but he was too shy to ask her on a date by any other means.

On a walk down a pier that Iwan had claimed his first sign of magic occurred, during a particularly stirring sunset, Greta blurted out that she was a fraud and not even in the sports department and that she really fancied his beard. Thankfully, Iwan was too stunned to disapparate because he probably would’ve ended up in the Irish Sea.

They were very good at snogging and it turned out that under all of his anxieties Iwan didn’t have much to worry about in bed. In fact, Greta proclaimed to her sisters that she was now the queen of the Catchlove Sexual Deviants club and that they should bow down.

Iwan proposed to Greta a few times before she said yes. Their careers were both taking off, being tied-down was never something she really liked the idea of, and to manage to pick which sister would be the maid of honor would be such a headache. In the end, she wore the ring around her finger because she did love Iwan dearly and it was very shiny. They got pregnant and had their little girl before they made it down the aisle, so Liesel was dubbed her maid of honor (Ingrid got to play flower girl).

Liesel Rosaleen Zelda Quigley (her dad calls her Rosie, her mum insists on full name usage whenever she has the breath) is a Gryffindor ball of fire prone to bouts of anxiety, so a rather good mix of her parents. Her outbursts could shake the foundations of her home and then the panic of being late on an assignment caused her to lock herself up in the owlery of Hogwarts. With her many cousins, Liesel never had to feel lonely, something Iwan was truly grateful for. With parents that told her she could do whatever she wanted, she found her true calling in the theater, where she has become the sweetheart of the great purple way.

Maggie + Drystan
[info]cristina_lacosa
2014-05-25 11:50 pm UTC (link)

Tadhg Bryan | Gryffindor | William Moseley

Maggie had been sure she was going to marry Drystan Fawcett from the first time they stepped on the pitch together. He’d taken a bludger to the back for her, and instead of letting her know he’d just saved her life, he scolded her for not paying enough attention. She felt like his equal and her simmering crush on him grew at an exponential rate. One evening after practice she invaded his personal shower space and suffice it to say, he didn’t object.

Their personalities have much to clash over. While Maggie portrayed the face of an angel to the media, her stubbornness and temper irritated Drystan’s stoic personalities. Her shouts and foot stomping received long, hard gazes or a night of being completely ignored. They broke up, they hooked up, they banned each other from their lives, and interrupted dates with other people that the other may have stupidly thought they were allowed to go on. After a year of back and forth, Odette MacFarlan locked them in the Magpies’ manager’s office and told them to either “MAKE A BABY OR KILL EACH OTHER!”

And that’s how Tadhg came along!

Drystan did the proper and noble thing and proposed to Maggie right away, and she accepted, but she refused to get married until after the baby arrived. With all her big talk, she still had worries that he only wanted to get married because of the pregnancy and not her. Which may have been the case, at first, but the home life they created seemed to agree with the two and both their worries about their impending nuptials disappeared.

Tadhg (Ty, or Tim) takes after his father with his seriousness and orge-like tendencies. A scowly teenager, he found his place on the quidditch pitch like his parents. The Sorting Hat struggled between all four houses, but found that the stubbornness both of his parents had passed down to him made him a bull-headed Gryffindor. This setting allowed Tadhg to work alongside students who would not back down to him and instead of glowering, found it refreshing. He found himself drawn to charms and he ended up having quite the knack for it. Professor Flitwick spotted potential in the boy and insisted he join the dueling club. Tadhg found a way to release his suppressed energy and he entered the dueling circuit upon graduation.

Of course, Maggie and Drystan are front and center for each match, and it’s taken some getting used to by both his parents to not storm the stage and threaten to blow the bits off of Tadhg’s opponents. But, they’ve gotten better (a private sky box at each event has worked wonders).

Stella Catherine | Ravenclaw | Troian Bellisario

It was really, bound to happen. One broken heart after another, Thomas and Rose fell back into old routines one afternoon while bickering over where they should go to dinner. It was the idea that they could live like this, just like this, for the rest of their lives. It had been such a terrifying prospect with every other significant other they'd had, but when they put each other in those slots, well. It wasn't too scary. Kendall took some convincing, but after promising he could throw both the stag and hen night, things were settled. Thomas and Rose got married in a very small, quiet ceremony with their closest of friends and family. The media didn't catch wind of the marriage until six months after, when Rose appeared on the pitch with a new last name on her jersey (which she totally didn't have to do, but she knew how he secretly-but-not-so-secretly enjoyed it).

One evening, while babysitting his niece and nephew (though it was more like making sure they didn't sneak out of the house), Rose decided that she wanted to have a baby. Just one. With quidditch, it was hard to particularly plan a child, but Thomas and Rose were excellent Ravenclaws, and she was more than a little all right with taking some time off. It took nearly a year (so all planning went right out the window), but Rose announced she was pregnancy while walking along a beach in Spain, causing Thomas to get completely wiped out by an incoming wave.

Stella does not have the social anxieties of her parents, which is a goddamn blessing. She's very confident, thanks to the outpouring of support from her parents all her life, and it was no surprise when she ended up in Ravenclaw. There wasn't anything she couldn't do, so she decided to do it all. Grand Tours had gone out of style ages ago, but Stella finished her Hogwarts career and set off around the world, something Thomas had ached to do when he was younger. Owls constantly flitted back and forth through the household, relating all of her adventures, and after a little over two years Stella came back and settled in England to be closer to her family and to begin writing her long line of adventure books based on her own expeditions. Of course, her own adventures never stopped.

Michal + Therese

Elise Zosia Teagan | Gryffindor | Meghan Ory

This story begins where their relationship ended. After suffering the unexpected pregnancy and miscarriage, both Michal and Therese realized they had a lot of growing to do, even if they both got to that conclusion in very different ways. There were trust issues to be solved, history to get past, and learning to manage ones self on their own. Therese took the breakup hard, but found herself in a good, strong place after some time. When playing with Mackenzie's children, she sometimes yearned for what could have been, but life has its own plans. Michal went through his own bumps and bruises (some, quite literally), and figured out where his life was heading.

So, by what some would consider a very strange set of events, though it could probably just be called fate, Michal and Therese ended up sitting next to each other at a wedding. The awkward silence was broken by a few jokes at their own expense, and by the end of the night they'd recapped their lives and were glad to see the other happy with their current situation. Behaving like adults, who would have thought? Not repeating the past, they did not end up in a broom closet, but the next morning their owls nearly collided mid-flight with nearly identical letters stating that they should 'grab lunch sometime.'

Lunches turned into dinners and dinners into desserts. Both treaded carefully, but eventually a relationship blossomed once more. He proposed while unpacking after a trip to Paris, where she had been sure they were getting engaged, but that turned out to be 'too cliché.' A loud, boisterous wedding was held with family and friends, because remember, they're both half Irish (which equals to one big Irish wedding). The topic of children was always a strained one to have, but the pair took on the notion that whatever happened, happened. Of course, that was the easiest way to finish the conversation, but when they found out they were pregnant, it was a happy occasion.

Until it happened again.

Therese took this miscarriage much harder than the first, having actually had the chance to get excited about being pregnant. Michal felt himself slipping toward the instinct to flee, but after suffering so much loss he knew that he did not want to let go of anything else. They made it out of the dark times and soon life was back on track.

She did not tell him she was pregnant for weeks after she found out. Michal only found out because he found Therese getting sick in one of her favorite vases after not being able to make it to the loo. The anxiety was high, but once they'd made it further through the pregnancy than ever before, they finally allowed themselves to share the news with their family and friends. It was a long few months, but soon their little girl was born. They didn't have to follow the tradition of Michal's many names, but when this child had taken so long to have, she deserved some extra attention.

A Gryffindor to the core, Elise is very inquisitive and silly. Loud questions were always being asked (BUT WHY? BUT WHY?) and wild imaginary adventures were always going on around the house. Definitely a tomboy, much to her mother's chagrin, Elise spent a lot of time in the dirt. Quidditch was a great release, but she could never focus enough to be more than average at the game. What she was good at, was using her wand and learning useful spells. One trip with Auntie Larkin to an ancient ruins site, and she was hooked. Elise took an internship at Gringotts as a cursebreaker and finds herself hired on expeditions from business across Europe. It was lucky her mama made her papa learn all that Polish so that he could teach her, yes?

Maeve Soraya | Hufflepuff | Chloe Bennet

Mira Jasper has always been able to intoxicate Charlie Spinnet with her feminine ways. He never stood a chance against her and they went years being 'unofficial,' but still with a bit of a claim on each other. They dated other people, got serious, broke things off, and always wound up revisiting each other's beds. She put him in place, and he was always so much bloody fun.

Charlie was always a bit of a sap, so their engagement was full of romantic gestures and big displays (fireworks, of course!). The wedding planning was long, elaborate, and detail-oriented. To say that they didn't almost break-it off/kill each other during the process would be a lie, but they were finally married and could live happily ever after.

Five years into their marriage, Mira grabbed Charlie's belt-buckle in the middle of the kitchen and demanded that they make a baby. They had put off starting a family because of his busy schedule and her lack of wanting to be pregnant. Her friends had all moaned about all the pain and agony they went through, so why put herself through that? Charlie had been quite fine with the delay as being a parent and in charge of someone else's life was absolutely terrifying, but Mira almost always (okay, always) got what she wanted.

Not for a while, though. It took another two years before she got pregnant, and it was after they had stopped bothering to try. Their families were elated and this child was basically the biggest news to hit the media. Charlie and Mira, unlike their insane engagement and wedding, kept a low-profile to ensure that their long-awaited gift was delivered in perfect condition. She was, thankfully, and then the celebrations could really begin.

Maeve is quite simply the happiest child to ever walk the face of the earth. She has her father's optimism and her mother's determination, making her a natural leader. She entered Hogwarts with the full expectation into being sorted into either Gryffindor or Slytherin, either would do, and was super duper surprised to be sent to Hufflepuff. Something about her work ethic? Okay, then! Charlie and Mira had a meltdown back home, but mostly because no one had won the bet they'd made when Maeve was born. An eleven year long bet, down the drain!

Her hard-work did pay off, however, and Maeve earned a massive amount of OWLs and NEWTs, securing her a place in the Mungo's Intern Program. She's deciding on what sort of healing she wants to concentrate in, but wherever she goes, she'll be great at it. Who would've thought that Charlie and Mira would've made a brilliant healer, huh?

Dolly Anna Marie | Hufflepuff | Eliza Taylor

Dianna claimed Adian very early in his life. By the June of first year she had assured him that they would be married by the end of the summer, and he stayed in doors for the entire two months to avoid matrimony. She didn’t give up, though, and second year was filled with proclamations that Adian was her boyfriend and that he was already saving up for an engagement ring. Third year was a bit of the same, and it wasn’t until their fifth year that Dianna decided to take her hair out of messy plaits and did something to make it shiny that Adian warmed to the idea of being her forever boy. Mostly because he couldn’t take his eyes off of her, but he’d be the first to admit he was still quite intimidated.

With their Hogwarts years behind them, Dianna and Adian both entered the real world with not much of an idea of what to do besides be together. His internship was going nowhere and she took random art gallery jobs at galleries that closed in a week’s time. They were happy, though, Dianna not batting an eye at her lack of engagement ring. She knew how the real world worked and how they differed from childhood fantasies. She was happy with her life with Adian and their little flat that they shared.

And then! She received a job offer from a very famous museum, but it was all the way in New York. New York! Dianna Dobbs was meant for New York. But Adian had also just gotten a job as a sports journalist at the Daily Prophet, oh, what to do?

She left, she left with a tearful goodbye and a promise that she would always love him and would hope he’d wait for her.

He did, and when she came back like she said she would, Adian promptly dropped to one knee and proposed with the ring he’d been saving up for since he was eleven years old.

Dolly is remarkably sweet and full of kindness. She’s got her mother’s brains and her father’s excitability. She was sorted into Hufflepuff like so many great Dobbs before her, and excelled in charms and history. Her creativity took form in the arts, and was soon found painting the dorm from floor to ceiling (Professor Sprout saved the mural by magically moving the paint to a non dormitory area of the Badger Dun). Her mother was more than happy to help her with her first art show, and now she’s happily got a studio where she is always feeling inspired.

Isolde Joscelind| Gryffindor | Emily Bett Rickards

Seth and Maggie were notorious flirts during their time on the Magpies. He'd led an invasion that had started a war against Maggie's best friend, Odette, but there was something about him and his no-nonsense-but-actually-complete-nonsense manner that drew her to him. Maybe it was because he drove Odette crazy, maybe it was his abs. It was probably his abs, but she did like a bit of other stuff about him. But, of course, being the good friend she was, Maggie did not allow any of their flirtations go further than words and captured gazes.

That was until Seth gave up the title of captain. Maggie promptly jumped him that night, and thus began their illicit affair. They were only brought to the public's attention when Joey Jenkins interrupted an impromptu locker room session and screamed like he was being murdered. Odette found out and verbally cursed them up and down, and though it took some time (and a lot of promising that nothing had happened whilst the war was engaged), Odette allowed herself to barely tolerate it.

it also helped that Maggie was traded to the Tornadoes and Seth to the Falcons, didn't actually have to see the two together, much.

After a year of their rather heated relationship, Maggie declared that if Seth wished to sleep with her any longer, he needed to put a diamond ring on her finger. A year was far long enough to know you wanted to be with a woman for the rest of your life. Seth did not appreciate the ultimatum, but he didn't appreciate the lack of sex, and asked his grandmother for her her engagement ring. The two were wed right before the next season began, quite elegantly, Maggie would like to say.

Isolde came about three years after marriage, an accident because of a faulty potion brew. She's a lovely accident, however, and the light of her parents' eyes. Almost sorted into Slytherin because she had inherited her mother's cunning ways, Izzy slipped into Gryffindor and made a name for herself there. An academic unlike either of her parents, she knew from a young age that she would be making a difference in the wizarding community. Upon finishing Hogwarts she entered the Ministry and is studying Magical Law to become a solicitor to defend those in need. Quidditch doesn't move her, much, but she does sport her parents respective jerseys whenever she can (and also to show sides when there are arguments going on in the Wadcock-Brand household).

Eleanor Regan | Slytherin | Bella Thorne

It was the end of the world as they knew it.

Adian was married and Louis had realized by the end of the third bottle of champagne that he was now going to be quite alone in the world. What was he going to do without his best friend? That wife of his was going to take up all his time and---where had all these years gone? It was this deep and utter despair that had pushed him into the broom closet with Lottie, who was experiencing a similar mental breakdown. Adian had been the perfect gentleman, and she’d wasted her years chasing after quidditch men who didn’t give her the time of day. And now he was married, she’d moaned after the tenth shot.

They woke up tangled in tulle and dress robes, hollering in disgust and outrage, and a lot of angry French.

It was a good thing that Louis and Lottie did not make a habit of spending time together, because they’d never be able to look each other in the eye after their rather depressing romp. Lottie could barely stand when she finally confronted him in a ministry lift to tell him that she was pregnant and that he was the father. Louis promptly lost consciousness for a few seconds, and they ended up in the Department of Mysteries for a few hours.

Explaining the terrible mistake to Adian had not been as painful as Louis had imagined it would be. It had taken weeks to build up the courage, but he believed his friend had the right to know. It was painful in the fact that Adian punched him in the nose, but not emotionally so. His friend was happy with his new bride, so now all Louis had to deal with was a ragingly hormonal Lottie Sweeting.

It was a miracle he made it out of the nine months alive.

Eleanor, unfortunately for her mother, only inherited her hair. She’s quiet and not a fan of gossip, though she keeps a keen eye on everything going on around her. When she was sorted into Slytherin, she cried about it for a week, but never told her supremely proud father. Slytherin’s had such a bad reputation to live up to, and it was her Uncle Adian who showed her that if he and her father could make friends, then she could get past the stereotypes. Ellie devoured books and focused on her studies, allowing her to earn a top marks and the Head Girl badge.

She writes for the Prophet as an investigative journalist, hoping to break up crime rings and other illegal operations. Her mother muses that it’s a variation of getting a juicy scoop of gossip, yeah?

Charlie and Nora’s story happens as one would expect, accidentally and hilariously. After spending a few years in England as her home base, Nora decides that it’s once again time to set sail around the world. Perhaps her next great adventure is out there and she’ll be able to truly find herself. She accepts the offer to run a Magical Animals of the Amazon Rain Forest Preservation and it is a five-year contract. Many tears are shed, and Delilah Spinnet only allows her to go if she can throw her the grandest of good-bye parties. A Spinnet party is always something for the record books, and this one was no exception. The night before Nora was supposed to head off on this life-changing adventure she had far too much firewhiskey and woke up in bed beside her one true enemy, Charlie Spinnet.

Her shriek rivaled that of a banshee’s. His shriek rivaled that of a banshee. There was a lot of shrieking that morning, and jumping, and throwing, and curses (and curse words) flung. Kenneth joined in on the barrage of Charlie and the bloke managed to at least get his pants on before being pelted to death.

Nora landed in the Amazon with no other bumps. Well…

She figured it out a few weeks later and cried for a full day. How could this happen? It was the most miserable feeling in the world to be pregnant with a baby from a man she couldn’t hold a five minute conversation with. Charlie would never want to raise a child with her and she didn’t with him. They hated each other, it was one stupid drunken night that shouldn’t ruin the rest of their lives. It made no sense to keep the baby, but a family had been something Nora felt like she had been searching for these past few years.

Deciding it was for the best, Nora didn’t owl home about her surprise. Charile was off winning World Cups and she was saving the Amazon. It was lucky for her that she was so good at charms, it made waddling through riverbanks and foliage much easier. With the bare minimum of healing equipment, her pregnancy went rather smoothly; women had been doing this in the jungle for centuries! The day she went into labor was the most exciting and terrifying day of her life.

Her son was born at precisely midnight. And then her daughter was born at 12:05.

Bloody brilliant.

Three months and four years later, Nora, Jack, and Brynn make their way back to England and surprise the hell out of Nora’s family and friends. Delilah, who had a brood of her own now, ranted and raved at Nora about all the missed birthday parties they could have had, Kate sized the twins up to see if they’d be fit for her own children’s quidditch teams, and Charlie figured it out rather quickly.

Oh, the row they had. Charlie was married, expecting what he thought was his first son. How were they supposed to explain this? It took time, a lot of tears (“Gingers, of course they’re both gingers!”), quidditch jerseys to be fitted, and a lot of curse words, but life sorted itself out . Nora took hold in Ireland and twins got to grow up with the best of all worlds. Charlie devotes his time to the kids and is often heard telling funny tales about their mum that they all giggle about behind their hands when Nora glares. Amazingly, the big five year secret that Nora kept from him was what managed to make them friends, and now she can hold ten minute conversations with him. Maybe a little more.

Jack Keegan | Ravenclaw | Iain De Caestecker

Jack Keegan Peakes is a brilliant little nature lover like his mum, though he’s more into the why than who, what, or where. It was never a surprise (well, it was) to find creatures under his bed in tanks or a kneazle or two in his bookbag. Explosions were commonplace as he tried to figure out what plants and potions did what, and it carried him into Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, where he excelled at Herbology and Potions, leading him to open up his own apothecary using ingredients from all around the world (meaning he travels a lot, too!). Jack and Charlie were two peas in superbly different pods and it often took Charlie a while to understand what his son was going on about. But, there was an effort, and Jack did acknowledge it. He'd rather just be in his books and go on and on to his mum about his findings.

Brynn Moira | Gryffindor | Elizabeth Henstridge

Brynn Moira Peakes-Spinnet is a bouncing ball of energy. Nora after had to pull her out of trees in the jungle because the little girl needed to make friends with the sloth that was hanging around. She was more than thrilled to find out she had family and was immediately taken with her father. She wanted to be just like him when she grew up, and from the moment she was gifted her first broom her feet touched the ground approximately an hour’s worth of time for the rest of her life. Of course a Gryffindor, Brynn didn’t retain information as quickly as her brother, but she wasn’t drowning in studies. An average student, she breezed through school because she knew she was damn good at quidditch. She was drafted by the Kestrels as a keeper, obviously, and was allowed to wear her father’s retired number.
