Sexuality: Closet Bisexual. He doesn't often have sex with woman because he doesn't like their emotions or their juices. He'll only have sex with men if he has consumed liquor in order to 'blame it on the alcohol'.
Role in company: Solo actor (you know, like those boring videos of a hot guy masturbating). He will eventually become an actor that stars in movies with others.

Background History:
As a young boy, Neji was a prodigy of sorts. He was incredibly smart and thrived where many people his age (and sometimes, years older) had failed. However, Neji's intelligence and talent were constantly overlooked by his prestigious and uptight family.

Neji spent countless hours alone; reading, writing, and maintaining his physical fitness. At the young age of sixteen, he was asked to give a speech in front of hundreds of his peers and important figures of authority. The speech was supposed to consist of how family did its part in helping Neji to achieve straight A's since the third grade (which is when students started to receive letter grades).

Not a single member of his family came to listen to his speech.

Neji pretended not to let that fact bother him, but it did. Although many of his classmates labeled him as antisocial and unfriendly, he truly craved attention from anyone that was willing to give it to him. He hid that desire behind a mask of indifference, an aloof attitude that had taken him straight to the top up until he dropped out of school two weeks later.

With nothing more than three hundred dollars that he had saved from tutoring jocks, Neji made his way to Reno, Nevada. His original destination had been Las Vegas but he didn't have enough money for that ticket... Because of his above average height for just a teenage boy, Neji was approached by many people, both men and women, who offered him jobs as an 'adult entertainer'.

Neji knew that taking a job of that nature would degrade himself as a almost man. He also knew that it would bring shame to his family if they ever found out.

He started his occupation as a stripper two days after arriving in Reno.

For three years, Neji worked at a company, showing off his now more mature body to those who paid the right amount of money to see it. He rarely danced. He didn't need to. Once he lowered his pants, dancing was the last thing that any one person in the crowd cared to see.

With a penis that rivaled John Holmes's legendary genitalia, Neji was an instant favorite among women (and men on Tuesdays and Thursdays- Men's Night). Though, Neji was strictly off limits to having people touch any part of his body when he was performing, he had no problems showing the world that being a genius was definitely not his only gift.

It wasn't until recently when he decided to make the transition from allowing individuals to eye rape him in club settings to allowing them to do it from the comfort of their own home along with a television or computer.

Personality, Likes & Dislikes: As stated, Neji loves attention, more so than that, he loves making others think that he hates the very attention that he craves so desperately.

Neji is not a very outgoing individual. He is generally quiet in nature unless he feels the need to point out someone else’s shortcomings. He is a difficult person to communicate with, but the right amount of alcohol will loosen him up considerably. He favorite drink is Grey Goose Vodka and cranberry juice. He occasionally drinks on the weekend to unwind and every once in awhile during the week to distress (normally, when he has been thinking about the life he left behind).

There aren't too many things that he likes or enjoys other than attention. He does, however, enjoy winning an argument. He dislikes several things including the emotional attachment that many women seem to carry along with him during no strings attached sex. If he has sex with a male (after drinking too much, or so he claims) he will never bring it up and will avoid the man that was lucky enough to get into his pants. He eventually wants to go back to school and earn his diploma, but can't bring himself to do so.

First Person

I woke up this morning to discover that he had made himself comfortable on the sofa in my living room. He smiled at me, one of those smiles that people give when they expect you to remember something that transpired between the two of you the night before.

I ignored him and his ridiculous smile.

It is pointless, really, to smile when there is nothing to smile about. The night before was a mistake. It disgusts me to think that I let him touch me at all. He really isn't that attractive now that I am sober enough to really look at him.

I took a shower and scrubbed the evidence of things that shall be unmentioned off my skin and out of my hair. I had hoped that he would leave before I was done. He had, thankfully. He also left his number on the May edition of Time Magazine, sitting atop my living room table. The number was written on, of all things, a paper napkin. He also managed to leave his jacket behind.

I sent a text message to his phone, letting him know that he could pick his jacket up at a park on the other side of town. I will leave it on a park bench, and if he's lucky, it will still be there when he arrives. I suspect he had planned to use the jacket as a reason to visit me.

Looks like I saved him the trouble.

Third Person (prompt Cell phone)

It sat there, an inanimate object, yet it called to him so loudly, that he had to remove himself from his bedroom and out into the hall where he could think properly.

He’d only had one drink, which was far from enough to get him to the point where simple want became burning need. Unfortunately, for him, his brain refused to give the rest of his body that tiny bit of valuable information.

So there he stood, out in the hall, completely, almost embarrassingly, aroused.

He could call a woman, any woman, and take care of his annoying problem, but that option would leave him with yet another annoying problem. This new problem would weigh about one hundred and ten pounds would smell like White Diamonds. This new problem would also come with an endless amount of questions, concerning whether or not they were going to become a ‘thing’.

Neji heavily weighed his options. With a defeated sigh, he traveled back into his room and picked up the cell phone that he had tried to escape. He dialed the number, pretending as though he was making a simple business call. He waited for the other person to pick up. After two rings, the call was answered by a man with a smooth, velvety, voice.

“I wasn’t expecting to ever hear from you again.”

“I’ve had a few too many drinks.” A lie he had told so many times, that he sometimes actually believed it when he said it. “I don’t suppose you could give me a ride home?”

“I’ll be there shortly.”

“Okay.”

Neji hung up the phone. He would walk to the bar just two short blocks away from his home and pretend to have been sitting there all night. The man that he had called always played his role in this lie and it was only fair that Neji do the same.

First off, thank you for applying! While your prompts are acceptable, the mods have come up with a few issues regarding the background and personality of Neji.

1) Please check with the established Hinata players background, as she touches on the history of the Hyuuga family, and we would like to see you incorporate this. Also, how is he keeping this from his family? Are they checking up on him? Does he feel bad or wrong about keeping it a secret? Just a bit more clarification on his family is what we're asking for.

2) Please elaborate further on why Neji chose this occupation. While creativity in character's background is encouraged, for Neji to take a step like this, we would require more of an in-depth look into why he had chosen it. Was there anything more that drove him besides the call for attention and if it was that, why would he chose that occupation to receive it? This also helps to give us a better look into his personality at the same time.

3) The personality portion could use a bit more detailing as well, as what is there is a good starting point, but doesn't fully explain where he's coming from. You mentioned he was a prodigy and a genius, so how does that play into his personality? What sorts of hobbies does he have? How does he spend his off time? Quirky things that make him who he is. Further detail on any of those would be encouraged.

Taking these into consideration, you have until June 24th to resubmit the background and personality of Neji, with any changes you have made. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact any of the mods at feel good mods on AIM.
