1) Michael hates dimensional travel, but he's glad that he ended up in the same universe the Avengers came from. They even introduced him to a kid who's a lot like him in terms of powers.

Michael has a feeling that this isn't a "Hey you guys are similar you should meet" as it is a "Watch the kid because we trust you" one, though. And he just jabbers on.

2) Mason loves the fact that the new guy is short like him and has the same kind of powers. The flaming head is weird and the guy talks to himself a lot, but overall he's funny and cool!

He keeps muttering in Chinese, though...

3) Mason is astounded when Michael opens up the Matrix to him. His first request when being joined?

"Can we make fireworks? OOOH! What about working on a dirtbike? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!"

Mason went on for half an hour, listing off all the things he wanted to do.

4) Michael became a maturing force in Masons life. He was certainly the same fun-loving and optimistic guy that he always was, but with the older transmuter and the spare time he spent in the Matrix made him more introspective, more willing to think things through and not be brash.

The first time this happened, Jordan was convinced Michael had somehow hidden his real brother.

5) Once contact was re-established with Michaels world, Michael gave Mason a present: a pendant with his very own hero symbol on it.

Mason is determined to visit Michael soon and return the favor.
